I went to a tournament at Mirkwood Comics and Games in Ritchfield
Minnesota on May 14th.  There were only 23 people there, probably because
it's Mothers Day.
Here is my deck...

We played 5 rounds of 1 game-Swiss and then best 2 out of 3  for the top
eight.

Round 1:  Me vs. Jesse Voltin w/ Fossil Raindance
He had a Squirtle and a Articuno vs. my Electabuzz I used a lot of
resources to kill his Squirtle. I had to Oak and Comp. Search.  He Oaked
and did killed my Electabuzz a couple turns later and had 2 Squirtle on
his bench.  I decided to use lass because I had Junk in my hand, and I
took away a Comp. Search and a Gust of Wind.  He was stopped cold, until
he drew and it was an..Oak!  I was dead.  He got some energy and a
Blastoise and KO'd all my pokemon.  Not a good way to start off.

Round 2: Me vs. Jason Moon with Jungle Haymaker
This was not a good start.  I had a lone Electabuzz vs. his Hitmonchan.
He got a Fighting Energy and Oaked twice for PlusPowers, only to find out
with a Comp. Search that the other two were in his prizes.  He did 60 to
my Electabuzz.  I got 2 bills and got some other Pokemon and a Scoop up.
I scooped up Buzz and stalled for a long while.  I had 2 Scoops and an
Item FInder, so I stalled for a while.  He flipped for his Electabuzz
about 10 times, and he flipped 7 tails, so his Buzz was KO'd I picked a
Prize and got an Oak.  I was so happy.  I stalled him for about 5 turns
with ease and decked him.

Round 3: Me vs. Fenalyn with Turbo Wiggly
He was using the same deck Haffner used to win the last tourney, so I
expected a challenge.  He had 2 Basics and threatened to use 2 Scoop Ups.
 I got my Mewtwo powered by turn 2 and went to work.  I KO'd a Magmar and
a Scyther before he Scooped up his Wiggly for the loss.

Round 4: Me vs. Nick Csargo with Raindance
I actually had never met him before, even though he was ranked 7th in
the state.  I know he had a raindance with Magikarps.  I think I KO'd his
Articuno and Squirtle with Electabuzz for the easy win.

Round 5: Me vs. Oliva Smith with Wiggly Maker
He played me pretty hard, taking a lot of prises early.  When I was down
4-1, he got out a Wiggly, who did 60 to my Scyther, who I retreated for a
Buzz who KO'd him.  He sent out a Buzz, gusted for the Scyther, and KO'd
it for the win.

Loss
3-2

I made the finals by a whisker, making the 8th seed out of eight. 

Quarterfinals: Me vs. Kid who went 5-0 with a 4-color hay.
I do not see how this kid went so far.  He had Grass, Fire, Electric,
and Fighting for his Pokemon. 
Game one:  I sort of stopped him cold, with ERs and SERs at the
beginning of the game. When I had 2 Prises left, I brough out the Mewtwo,
and Gusted for 2 KO's and the game

Game two:  He had another bad draw.  He amused my by Swords Dancing a
lot, which I met with ER or Gust of Wind.  Mewtwo came into play and
swept up.

I was on to the Semifinals against Jesse Voltin again with his raindance.
Game one:  I got out an Electabuzz, who stopped all his Squirtles cold.
He was left with Laprases, who I KO'd with my Mewtwo and Electabuzz.

Game two:  I thought I had shut him down by KOing a Lapras and a
Squirtle, but he picked an Oak.  He got out a Blastoise with 5 energy on
it an KO'd one of my Buzz.  I gusted out a Articuno, but he countered by
playing 4 water on it and KOing 2 Electabuzz with Blizzard.  He brought
out his Blastoise and finished me off.

Loss
1-1
Game three:  I had yet another Electabuzz vs. an Articuno and a
Squirtle.  I KOd the Squritle after two thundershocks and KOd the
Articuno after two thunder punches

Win
2-1

I got into the finals and decided to split the packs with Jason Moon.  We
decided to go best 2 out of 3, the winner getting the win and the loser
getting the odd pack.
Game one.  I got ahead pretty good, and he forfeted the whole thing, so
I won.

I won 7 boosters, and I traded all but two for store credit.  I opened
the 1st Rocket Boosters and got a foil Dark Slobrow and a non foil Dark
Dragonite.

Props to Mirkwood for having bi-weekly touneys.
Props to Jason for only getting 2 Pluspowers in game 2.
Props to Justin, Tony, and Graham for not coming and letting me win.

Slops to Jason for forfetting.
Slops to Wigglytuff, because he shuts down Mewtwo.
