Any questions/comments/suggestions should be emailed to

Pokemon:
3 Pikachu (Jungle!!!)
2 Raichu (Base set)
3 Voltorb
2 Electrode (Base set)
2 Zapdos (Fossil)
4 Spearow
3 Fearow
3 Electabuzz

Trainers:
2 Pokemon Trader
4 Potion
3 Super Potion
3 Gust of Wind
2 Switch

Energy:
22 Electric Energy
2 Double Colorless Energy

You can try tweaking this deck to your liking. It's fairly flexible.

Strategy:
As you can probably see, this deck is a sort of a semi-haymaker that
thrives in the early to mid-game. Spearow is a good choice as a starting
active with his free retreat and resistance. There is a good chance you'll
get an Electabuzz at the start, but still play Spearow as your active
because he's got free retreat. In the mid to late-game Fearow, Electrode,
and Raichu are good choices. Electabuzz can work in the mid or late-game
too, but not as well. Electrode can really bum your opponent out because
when he's almost KO'd you can just use Buzzap. Sure, your opponent still
gets a prize, but you get a double electric energy. As for the trainers,
the theme is pretty obvious: healing. Most electric Pokemon can hurt
themselves, but all the Potions and super potions will take care of
that. The DCEs are there for a second turn agility with Raichu or
Fearow.That can hurt!!!

Tournament Report:
Location: Alternate Realities, Ithaca NY
Winner: Electabuzzap
Participants: 3
Style: Round-Robin

Round 1: Vs. Fighting Evolution deck
I knew he was playing fighting in advance, so I chose Spearow. He chose a
Machop, I think. He played a pretty good deck, but I had my
Fighting-resistant pokemon on my side. I knew he was desparate when he
sent out Machoke. I think I ended up using Zapdos. MVPs: Spearow, Fearow,
and Zapdos

Round 2: Vs. Power Reserve (yes, the pre-con, unmodified)
It doesn't get much easier. He had pretty good strategy, and he did pretty
well for playing a pre-con, but I creamed him.

And, in case you were wondering...
Round 3: Power reserve Vs. Fighting Evolution
This was actually a pretty good game. I wasn't playing in it, but it was
still pretty interesting! I think Power Reserve might have started out
with an Abra, and Fighting... Machop, I think. Power Reserve got Kadabra
going, and he got a gew KO's, but was eventually taken out. Then, I think
Kanga came in and punched a couple guys away. I had already won, so I
wasn't paying very close attention. It was back and forth, and I think
Wepingbell might even have got into the fight. But, the eventual winner
was Power reserve. The fighting deck just didn't have enough
deck-manipulation cards to get what it needed.

Record for the day: 2 wins, 0 losses
The prize: a $15 gift certificate, which I redeemed for boosters. I got
two base set and one fossil.
I pulled a Beedrill, non-holo Hitmonlee, and some others (can't quite
remember) out of the boosters.
The guy who had the power reserve took second and pulled....Charizard!
And now for.... Props and Slops
Props to the guy playing the fighting deck for giving me a good fight and
taking the loss well.
