This tournament took place on the 20th of May, at Neutral Ground in Garden
City, Michigan. There were probably 8-10 players. It was a double loss
elimination.
Round One: Dustin with Psy/Lightning Deck
His deck consisted of gastly/Haunter/Gengar, Pikachu/dark
Raichu, and
electabuzz. This was a well fought battle, but due to his massive weakness to
fighting, i claimed all of my prizes with him getting only 3.
Round Two: Jared with Potporri?Aerodactyl deck
He had magmars, hitmonchans, electabuzz, scyther, and
mysterius fossils (
i never actually saw an aerodactyl. I got a good start ( my scythers to his
hitmonchans). He never recovered from the slow start.
Round Three: Nathan B. with Grass/Colorless
His deck was well built, with wigglytuff, scyther, ditto and
full heal
and potion energy. He is a good player, but lacks discipline. When we played,
he wuickly got the upperhand, but only thru drawing a ton of cards. I stalled
him with over half of my deck remaining.
Round Four: Nathan B. ( same from round 3)
He had to battle some other players who had one loss in order
to
challenge me for first place. Because i was undefeated and he had one loss
(everyone else had been eliminated), the person in charge said he had to beat
me twice, and i only had to beat him once. Since i have played him many
times, i knew tghat i should just wait and let him deck himself, whcih he
did. During the game he oaked three times and billed just as many. I beat him
in the same manner as round three.
I claimed 1st prize, which was a 1st edition dark vileplume ( holo), 1st
edition Here comes team rocket (nonholo), and a dark Arbok (nonholo), and
some oher worthless cards.
Props and slops
