Energy- 25
2 potion energy
23 lightning energy
I only played 2 matches.
Match 1- vs. Bob with Dark Charizard deck
The basic strategy of this deck is to stall with fossil magmar and gather
fire with charmander, then wreak havoc with Dark Charizard. I opened
with base Zapdos to Magmar. After a while, he knocked out Zapdos, and
I brought out Electabuzz and Thundershocked with paralysis, and then dropped
another energy and started thunderpunching away. We were down to a
prize apiece and with g.o.w., and dark charmeleon, he toasted Clefairy for
the win.
Match 2 vs. Dawson with a jigglin' cheese maker
I opened with Zapdos again (grr.. not a good game opener) and he a Scyther
with promo mewtwo on bench. I go, and draw clefairy, and he drops
energy, I go,and luck is on my side my draw is clefable. So I
evolve, drop a potion energy, and he knocks out Zapdos, but it all goes
downhill for Dawson from here. I knock out Scyther and what luck his
pokemon-mewtwo, so i metronome psyburn, he centers, psyburn 2 more times I
win.
I had to leave (mom was worrying about her flowers in the trunk of the car.)
but I am satisfied with the performance of my deck. It won against a
very tough opponent, my own best friend. I am going to modify this
deck, putting more clefairy-clefable in, as clefable is a very good card.
Thanks,
Adam
