Round 1 vs. some guy Charizards and Blastoises

This match was over fairly quickly when he got a squirtle as his only basic and I

got Mewtwo. I used a comp search to get rid of 1 psy energy and 1 water and then attached

1 psy to mewtwo and energy absorbed. He failed to paralyze and he was dead by next turn.

Round 2 vs. Cole with an Electric and Psycic Deck

Okay ... I get an Abra, a breeder, and an Alakazam 1st turn, along with one Squirtle. He had 3 Electabuzz's and some Mewtwos. Alakazam was my active for most of the time time. Once I had chansey I took control of the battle. I kept on swapping all the damage to my benched and then using Pokemon Center to remove the damage. Surprise was the main aspect I was using. I would GOW out his psychics to knock them out easily but eventually Alakazam was knocked out. In the end I won when he had 20 damage on an Electabuzz and I had Mewtwo out and used a plus power for the kill.

Round 3 vs. kid with fire deck

I got 2 squirtle 1st turn and he got a charmander, vulpix, and evee. After about 4 turns I had a 2 Blastoise with 3 energies on 1. He GOW out my energyless Blastoise but I had a plan. He now had 1 Nintales w/ 2 energys, 1 Flareon, a baby clefairy, and 1 Charmeleon. I used a switch and brought out Blastoise. I attacked the baby clefairy... failure. He decides not to evolve into Charizard that turn. I get a GOW and brung out the charmeleon for the kill. No Charizard for him:) . From there it was fairly simple to knock out the rest.

Round 4 vs. Josh with his Haymaker

Josh is far better than me and has an excellent deck, he almost always wins the tourneys, I on the other hand always make it to the final 4 and then lose. I had a squirtle, an abra, a pokemon breeder, and a SER. I used abra as my active hoping for a Blastoise soon. He had 1 hitmonchan, and 2 scyther. He has played me many times before and knows I like Blastoises. He GOW outs my Squirtle and uses Jab w/ 2 plus powers for the kill. Dang... I thought I was screwed. I successfully paralyze 2 turns in a row... I get Alakazam. Thank god. Evolve + energize. He uses special punch. I now have three energies on him now I use confuse ray and it works. Now he sends out scyther using switch... ohhhh crap. I now have an Alakazam with 70 damage. Next thing I know I get a chansey. Damage swap time, I have 3 Pokemon centers in my hand. I know I'll last a while. I GOW out the hitmonchan and kill it. I get another chansey from prize. He sends out scyther. I swap the damage again and attack. He sends out his other scyther and uses slash again and I swap it. Then I use confuse ray with a Plus Power for the kill. He sends out scyther and GOW out my chansey... doh! He kills it. Next thing I know he has three electabuzzes. I use pokemon center. I use confuse ray with a plus power for another kill. Hurray!. I kill one electabuzz. He attacks me for 40 damage. I swap and use pokemon center again. I get another squirtle now and I use a breeder to get blastoise. He GOW out my other chansey with a hitmonchan as active. He kills it. I send out Blastoise. I surprise him with a plus power for 70 damage. No more hitmonchan. He sends out electa buzz. He uses thundershock and paralyzes and I have 20 damage on Blastoise. Crap. Then he uses thunder punch and does 10 damage to his self. YES! I use hydro pump for kill.

Now I am in Elimination Round

Round 5 (Final 16) vs. same guy I fought 1st time

Again over quickly with pretty much the same situation except it goes on a few extra turns cuz he evolved into wartortle.

Round 6 (Final 8) vs. Cole again

I was actually losing because of a terrible start. 3 Mulligans. Well to make a long story short his mom came and picked him up and that was that. I had excellent luck.

Round 7 (Final 4) vs Josh

I was feeling confident because I was undefeated then I hear I have to battle Josh again, crap! He hardly ever loses and wanted revenge. I got a chansey he got a hitmonchan, and a scyther. I hoped for a good card but no such luck. Game over, so much for my streak of good luck.

Grrr.... no boosters for me...
