VENUSAUR

Hey! It's me again! Or, didn't you read my first report? Oh well, maybe it didn't get posted. This time, Pojo fans, I improved my Venucenter. (Only by 7, but a change nonetheless) Also, I went to a Tourny, not the league.The prize was: 20$-1st place, 10$-2cd place and 7$ for 3rd and 4th place. (BTW, I found out that my league was NOT closing like I thought it would. (^_^) Stupid me)

Alright. I played him just before the tourny and won. So now I playing him again. I open up with a great hand consisting of 2 Scyther, an R.S.A., 2 Grass N.R.G., a Bill and a Comp. Search. He has Hitmonchan out, with a Machop on the bench. I keep 1 Scyther in my hand. Of couse, I Billed, R.S.A.'ed some Trainer and I Danced. The next few turns he got 2 N.R.G.'s on his Hitmonchan. *Hee hee* Before knocking it out with a +Power and a Swords Dance the turn before, I played a No Removal Gym. When I knocked out his Machop, he brought out an Electabuzz with an Electric N.R.G. on it. By then I had played my other Scy' and Breedered a Bulbasaur to Venusaur. He put on another Electric and used Thunder Punch w/heads. Too bad he didn't use Thunder Shock with heads. He would have prevented me from retreating Scyther for Venusaur, putting on a Grass N.R.G., Transing the rest, slapping down a +Power and winning due to no more Basic's. (He might just have got more Basic's had my Scyther been Paralyzed.)

I've seen this guy once before. At the league, I think. He had a weird combination of Pokemon. Water, Fire and Fighting. Again, I start off with Scyther. He has Misty's Horsea out, Base Charmander on the bench. I was kinda worried about the Charmander and Scyther being my only Basic, but then again, I had helpful Trainers to support me.(eg. Item finder, +Power etc. etc.) I go first. I attach a Grass N.R.G., R.S.A.'ed(He had no Trainers

>:P) and Scyther Swords Danced. He passed.(In his hand I saw a Charizard and 3 D.C.E.) I attached a D.C.E. and a +Power(I have my reasons) then K.O.'ed M. Horsea. He brought out Charmander. Still no more Basic's. He put on a water and scratched me for 20. No more Basic's, huh? *Snicker* I attached a +Power, Item findered for another one and Slash. There's another one...

*Shiver* Ooh boy. Ya. The very reason I put those TR Squirtle's in my deck, was exactly for this guy. He has a half-fire deck! And he's a very challenging opponent. He starts off with Base Abra out, Rocket Char' on the bench. I have Scyther out, Bulba' on my bench. I attach an N.R.G. and Swords Dance. Kale put down a Mr. Mime, attached a Fire N.R.G. to Charmander and gave the turn to me. I laid down Erika's Bulbasaur, attached a D.C.E. and K.O.'ed Abra. He brought out Mime and put on a Fire N.R.G. and laid down a Fossil Magmar. (At that time, I think he also benched 2 Chansey's) My turn. I benched a TR Squirtle and Erika's Bulbasaur then Breedered that other Bulbasaur, putting on a Grass N.R.G. Hmmmm. I had a G.O.W. in my hand. I used Swords Dance. He used R. Charmander's PPower, Gather Fire, from Mime to it. He then retreated Mime, brought out Char' and put on an N.R.G. then he EVOLVED TO CHARMELEON!! *WAAAAHHHHHH!!* At about that time, Kale sent my Scyther into Oblivion w/a Flamethrower. Oky doky. I sent out out TR Squirtle, slapped on a D.C.E. and hit him for 40. Next turn, Squirtle faints. I brought out Erika's Bulbasaur, put on a Grass N.R.G., crossed my fingers-and hoped for tails. I roll the dice, and it was......TAILS!! OH BABY!!! YES!!

Yes yes yes yes yes yes YES! Kale passed. I retreated, brought out Scyther, Transed the other Grass to him, slapped on a D.C.E. and Slash! I was so happy I got rid of Charmeleon. From then on, it was easy pickings. I built up a Venusaur, then Transed some Energies to my Bulbasaur, which was active against his poor, pathetic Energyless Mime. I K.O.'ed that. My Squirtle K.O.'ed a Fossil Magmar, but that Magmar K.O.'ed my Squirtle. I N.G.R.'ed both Squirtle's back into my library, I R.S.A.'ed nothing >:P, G.O.W.'ed an Abra and I Slashed. About then, time was called. In the end, I had taken 5 prizes to his 4. I win!

Okay. This was it. The final battle. The winner, 1st place w/20$. The loser, 3rd place w/7$. I was very nervous that game. But it didn't even get into the middle. It was 2 turns for each of us! I start w/semi-crap hand. (bad Pokemon, good Trainer's) I Pokemon each. Him MP Mewtwo, me TR Squirtle. Trevor goes first, putting on a

Fighting N.R.G. and passing. I have a hand of: Bill, Comp.Search, Item finder, No Removal Gym, +Power, 1 Grass. I Billed, getting--would you believe it--2 more Grass. Uh oh. Okay, I play No Removal Gym, Comp. Search for D.C.E. and putting it on, slapping down +Power then Item findered for Comp. Search and Searching for an Oak, and playing it. (I was afraid Trevor would play a Sneak Attack or Trap had I waited.) No more Basic's for me still. Looks like I'm gonna lose. I Shell Attack for 30. He plays a Psy' N.R.G. and passes. I sadly pick up a Plus Power. !!Wait! Plus Power??!! YES! Looks like I'm saved! Because I have one in my hand! Cool! I slap down both and Shell attack for 40. Yes! I win the Tourny!

How Cool! I won! I didn't think I would have won, because I was afraid someone would tie with me with wins, and my BYE not counting. But I did! The prize was only store-bought though. With my winning's and an extra dollar I had, I bought 3 packs and 3 sleeve's. I got Blaine(Non-holo), Resistance Gym and Giovanni's Last Resort. Before the Tourny, I bought 2 packs and got Brock's Ninetails and Koga's Arbok. Now for the famous Props and Slops.
