About 15 contestants

First of all, this deck is going to be dismantled, taken apart, during
the next week since I like to try something new each time. It gets boring
when you play the same deck over and over or playing an archetype deck. I got
a lot of Erika cards for some reason and since I have so many, I decided to
do an Erika deck!
So, without farther ado (Probably misspelled)…
Here's Erika's Laughter! (More like Erika's Giggle, since Erika's too
proper)

Golden Nut (Pokémon's? couldn't read the last part)

Attach this card to 1 of your Pokémon that does not have a Pokémon Item
already attached to it. If this Pokémon is knocked out, discard this card. At
the end of any turn, if this Pokémon has 4 or more damage counters on it,
discard this card and remove 4 of them.

Pokémon Swap

First, your opponent chooses one of your benched Pokémons and switches it
with the active. Then you choose one of your opponent's benched Pokémons and
switch it with his or hers active. (Something like a Switch and Gust in one)

This deck originally had Lt. Surge's Spearow/Fearow line but at the last
second, I decided to change it since Erika's Dratini/Dragonair is much
stronger, plus a nice Pokémon Power to boot.

Round 1 vs. some kid with Brock deck (Ground/Fighting)

I mulligan twice before I finally got a basic. I won the coin toss and
started with Erika's Oddish and Erika's Dratini on the bench. He had a full
bench of Brock's Geodude, Brock's Mankey and Hitmonlee as active. I attacked
twice with Oddish with Blot and Sporadic Sponging. Then I retreated and sent
out Dratini. He made good use of Hitmonlee and managed to damage me a lot,
even with Dratini's Power. After attacking Dratini again, Erika's Dratini was
down to 10 health. I drew a breath and hoped that the next card is Erika's
Dragonair. A holo-foil surface flashed. Erika's Dragonair was in my hand and
I evolved Dratini immediately. Using Blizzard with a successful coin flip, I
won the game very close.

1-0

Between matches:
I got a League activity sheet and did it. Then I turned it in and got another
Misty's Seadra. Sweet. Monica (I invited her and got 10 points for it) came
and she bought a couple Gym Heroes boosters and got Misty's Tentacruel and
Lt. Surge's Raichu.

Round 2 vs. Monica with Pikachu Revolts deck (Psychic/Electric)

She named the deck 'Pikachu Revolts' after the episode where a Drowzee
(Psychic Pokémon) takes control of Pikachu (Elec… oh why do I even have to
explain).
I made her deck so I didn't worry much about it. Jolteon, Raichu, Kadabra
plus Jynx and a couple of Bill and some Gust plus Switch. No biggie.
I started out with Erika's Oddish and Erika's Dratini benched. She
started with Lt. Surge's Pikachu and Sabrina's Abra on bench. I got out an
Erika's Gloom by my third turn and managed to kill some Pokémons. Monica used
Lt. Surge's Raichu's Mega Punch to knock out Gloom and I in return, knocked
Raichu out with Scyther. After killing my Scyther, we were tied at one prize
each. It was Erika's Dragonair vs. Kangaskhan. I only had two energies
attached and a benched Oddish with four damage counters. After about five
turns, I finally got an energy, attached it to Erika's Dragonair and flipped
the coin. If heads, I win, if tails, it's sudden death. The great shining
Pikachu stared at me and I won!

2-0

I was about to have my third match when some Pokémon Magic Show interrupted
the League. Everyone watched a really amazing card trick, featuring only two
energies in a whole deck with common Pokémons. For some reason, the magician
always finds the two cards while looking at the deck backwards. The backs of
the cards are all the same.
By the time the show was over, the League was over.

Time for props and slops!!!

Props to Monica for coming
Props to the amazing magic show
Props to dad for driving me there, even though he don't like Pokémon
Props to Mitch for introducing me to the Pokémon League at the beginning
Props to Erika's Dratini for finally being a good Dratini from the long line

Slops to Monica for leaving early
Slops to the magic show for taking a huge chunk of the League away
Slops to the computer for not knowing what a Pokémon, Pikachu plus all is
Slops to Mitch for moving away
Slops to my matches for having a real close ending

Mega slops to my matches for having a too close ending

Ultra slops for coin flips since your whole game depends on it
