Dark Blast (Water)

This is my first Post at pojo. So I hope I am doing it
right. :) I have played pokemon for a little over a
year now. I am ranked first here in Lubbock. With that
said this is my deck:

Energy

16 Water Energy

As you can tell this is a raindance deck. But i have
done some other stuff to it to make it better for ME.
Like all Raindance Decks the object is to get your
Blastoise out and flood you other pokemon with energy.
I think Dark Blastoise has better attacks than Base
Blastoise. He can do 70 damage for one less energy
than it takes Base Blastoise to do 60.
But Base Set Blastoise has the kick butt pokemon
power.
I threw in the Misty's Poli- Family Because i like
Poliwhirl's Water Punch. For 3 colorless energy he can
do 30 damage. Then you flip a coin for each water
energy attached, for each heads you add 10 more
damage. So if you use 3 water energy to do the attack
there is a possible 60 damage.
I also have a good combo that i have used a couple
of times in the tournys. It involoves the Energy flow,
Base Blastoise, and the pokemon center. Say your
pokemon has taken a beating from a bench hitting deck,
and they are about to get knocked out. Play the enrgy
flow to get all the water energy into your hand. then
play the pokemon center to get rid of all the damage,
then with Base Blastoise put all the water energy back
done any way you like it. And Bingo all of your
pokemon are healed back to full life with out loseing
a single energy.

Now To The Tournment.

This tournment had about 25 people in it. It is best 2
out of 3.

Round 1 Me vs. Brad Lial (useing a basic raindance.)\

The first game we both had our squrtles out. I had
another on my bench. he had the promo eevee and a
poliwag. I got to go first and attacked useing bubble.
failed to parilize. He went and added 2 pluse powers
and bubbled me for 30 damage. (Big Bubble huh.) He
pariliazed me. My second turn i evolved the squirtle
on my bench into base blastoise. i had another breeder
in my hand and i computer searched for my dark
blastoise. then oak to get energy. From there he could
not do much to me. So i won the first game.

The second game All i had was one squrtle he had the
promo eevee and 2 pluse powers to kill on the first
turn.

The third game was alot like the first. but alot
quicker.

record 1-0

Round 2 Me Vs. a Haymaker.

First game. I had all 4 squrtles a breeder and a base
blastoise in my hand at the start of the game. He had
nothing but a rocket hitmonchan. i went first and drew
an oak. i ended my turn without attacking (no energy)
he played an energy on chan and did cross counter. i
drew a water energy and played it. i took a chance and
evolved my active into base blastoise used the oak and
drew 4 energy another breeder and 2 computer searches.
i flooded my base set blastoise and hydropumped his
chan for 60 to K.O. it. he fliped and did 120 to me
(och.) but it did not matter he had no benched and i
had 3. I won.

Second game. Much like the first but with poliwhril. I
won

Record 2-0

Round 3 Me vs. a not so good grass deck.

First Game went by very very fast. i had squirtle and
energy 4 plusepowers and a oak. He had a bulbasare. he
went first added a energy and ended his turn. I drew
anotehr energy, then attached one and used all 4 pluse
power to K.O. Bubla for a first turn K.O.

Second game took one more turn but was the same as the
first.

Record 3-0

Round 4 Bye

Round 5 The Finals.
Me Vs. Chris. (Played a trap deck.)

First Game I hade a sqritle, poliwag, and Lt. Spearow
(The one with gust.) I put The Spearow up front. He
won the toss and went first. he had a Lt. Electabuzz
(holo). He attacted an energy and used discharge. He
fried my spearow. I put up Poliwag drew an energy and
played it on poliwag. Ihad a very cruddy hand so i oak
a dark Blastoise to get a very good hand. i used
Hypnotic Stare To paralyz him. He did not do anything
his next turn. I then breedered my squrtle into base
blastoise then attached 2 more energy to poliwag.
evolved into poilwhirl and used water punch. and
flipped 3 head to do 60 damage to K.O. His buzz. that
was game.

Second game. I started with a poliwag and 5 energy and
an oak. he had 3 pokemon on his side of the board. 1
out and 2 on his bench. I won the toss. He flipped
over a Rocket Hitmonchan a Rocket Scyther and a
electabuzz (wich was his active.) I drew another
energy, attached one and did hypnotic stare, and put
him to sleep. he did not wake up for his turn so he
attached and energy to buzz. and ended his turn he did
not wake up at the end of his turn. i drew the Erika's
dratini. i played the drat on the bench attached and
energy and used oak. thank god i drew a poliwhirl and
evolved to do rapids and got rid of the energy on
buzz. He did not wake up on his turn again. he
attached and energy to scyther. and ended his turn.
this time he woke up. i drew a breeder. i played a
squrtle on my bench. the one i should have played last
turn  :p . attached another energy to poliwhirl and
did water punch. i fliped 2 head to do 50 damage
enough to K.O. his buzz. He brought up his scyther. he
must not of had a double colorless because he put and
energy on his hitmonchan he did shadow image and ended
his turn. i drew a oak. I computer searched for a base
blastoise and evloved my squirtle. then i used oak and
computer searched for poliwrath. i then evovled
poliwhirl and flood my bench with the 2 energy
attached on to wrath and oaked again getting a
wonderful hand of 6 energy and another oak. i attached
the energy to blastoise. and oaked for a 3rd time.
getting recall a energyflow and a pokemon center and 2
squirtle and 2 NGR. i played the NGR and got the enrgy
that i discarded earlier and used recall to do
poliwhirl's water punch. for 60 damage. and i flipped
a heads so i was able K.O. scyther. He brought up
hitmonchan drew a card and did crosscounter. i drew a
energy and did water punch for 30 damage hit flipped a
heads and did 60 to me. he drew a card and put an
energy  on chan. and did cross counter. i did the flow
combo and did water punch to K.O. his chan he flipped
heads and did 60 damage angain to me. but it was game
over.
The thing that i thought was funny is his trap deck
did not work at all. or he didnt want to win.

I won a 1st ed. Prerealse Areodactle for getting first
place.
