Baloon Blaster! v1.4 (water/fighting)

    This is my fist report. Since i finally managed to
get into a tourney, im actully writing a report. My
deck is called ballon blaster. Wigglytuff is the
balloon part and Misty's golduck is the blaster part.
Really i call this deck gettin' wiggy wit it, but i
think that name is already taken here at pojo.This
deck did pretty well vs its other compitition. In
cause your wonder, the names of the other decks are
(some of these names i really love!): Grill the
burgars (my friend jon), Psyche (some kid with a
psychic deck), The super sayain deck (wonder where
that name came from?), Combos(i dont get the
name),Super Screamer (some kid working the
alakazam/tentacool combo), Super Brock (a brock deck),
Fire Blast (fire, duh!!!), Psyburn (my friend shawn's
deck), K.O. Needle (shawns friend albert), Brock (my
friend allen) (brock decks are popular at my pokemon
league), and, yours truly, GETTIN' WIGGY WIT IT!

GETTIN' WIGGY WIT IT a.k.a. Ballon Blaster v1.4

2 Jigglypuff (needed for wigglytuff)
1 wigglytuff (one of the main attackers)
2 Misty's Psyduck (needed for evultion)
1 Misty's Golduck (one of the main attackers)
2 Misty's Tentacool (needed for evultion)
1 Misty's Tentacruel (poison or confusion, decisions
decisios?)
3 Cubone (snivel is a great stall)
2 Marowak (bonmorange is good call for friend is
wiggly)
1 Hitmonlee(strech kick and hi jump kick both are da
bomb)
1 Hitmonchan( duh!!!)
2 Lickitung ( my fav staller, i LOVE confusion)
2 Misty's Horsea ( needed for evulution)
1 Misty's Seadra ( K.O. Needle rules!)
1 Ditto (duh!!!)
1 Marril (his attacks are awsome!)
1 Guraigaa (he's o.k.)
1 G.O.W. ( the best common trainer card in the game,
no offence bill lovers)
1 Super potion ( needed)
2 c.p.u. search ( there's no bad side to this card)
1 S.E.R. (unbeatable)
1 Pokemon Trader ( i want wigglytuff, how bout i give
u cubone?)
1 Ecolo Gym (E.R., whats that?)
1 Pokemon march ( a better version of challenge)
1 Charity (i didnt mean to put this in my deck)
12 Water Energy
13 Fighting Energy
1 Full Heal Energy ( i meant to use potion energy)

     25 pokemon+9 trainers+26 energys= 60 cards

WC: Extra Beam 40
  Effect: flip a coin. If tails, discard all energy
cards attached to this pokemon.
PC: Super Destruction
  Effect: Flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 energy
attached to each of your opponents pokemon and discard
them.

Ecolo Gym  Trainer card     (stadium card)
Effect: Whenever a non-colorless energy card is
discarded bye an oppenents attack, pokemon power, or
trainer card, return that card from the respective
players discard pile to his or her hand.

Effect:Each player may seach his or her deck for a
baby or basic pokemon and put it on there bench.(if a
players bench is full, he or she does nothing.)



     GETTIN WIGGY WIT IT vs. super screamer          
          Wednesday,September 13, 2000

   First round was a four prize match. I had played
him before and i knew he was playin psychic, so i
started with jigglypuff,and benched a hitmonchan. He
started with Abra and benched a base set
gastly.(haha!)
I went first and drew Misty's Tentacool. I benched it
and attached a fighting energy to jigglypuff and used
sing but he woke up.He attached a psychic energy to
abra and used psyshock for 0 due to resisitence     
w/paralize.I drew an energy. I attached a full heal
energy and use pound for 20. He attached an energy to
gastly, then he used psyshock. The coin flipped up,
flew behind him, hit the pre-school toys, came down
from the sky,bouced off a girls head, and finally made
a crash landing stop into a boy's deck! And after all
that it amnaged to be heads so i was paralized. I drew
a card and said go. He evovel gastly into fossil
haunter and used psyshock no paralize. I drew a card
and pounded Abra for the K.O. He put out haunter and
used nitemare for 0 due to resistance. I tried to pund
him but got heads on trancperancy and so it did
nothing.We kept doing 0 to each other again and again.
During that time he benched no one and i benched no
one. Finally he got tierd of doing nothing and
forfited. Score: Balloon Blaster: 1 Super Screamer: 0

Meanwhile.....

Grill the burgars had deafeted that little kid with
psyche by forfit.

Super Sayain deck defeated Combos by forfit.

Fire Blast defeated Super Brock 4 prizes to 3.

Match of the round: Psyburn made an amazing comback
against K.O. Needle! With K.O. Needle leading 3 prizes
to 0, Psyburn took out Misty's Seadra and it was
downhill from there. Psyburn got the win 4 prizes to
3.

      GETTIN' WIGGY WIT IT vs Fire Blast
       Saturday, September 16, 2000 

   I started with a hand from above: 2 Misty's Horsea,
Misty's Seadra, and 3 Water Energy. I made Misty's
Horsea my active and benched my other Misty's Horsea.
He started with Blaine's Charmander and no bench. I
went first and drew a Hitmonchan and benched it. I
attached a Water Energy to Misty's Horsea and used
Tackle for 20 due to weakness. He drew a card and used
a bill. Then he benched a Growith and used another
bill. Then he benched a charmander. Then he attached a
double colorless energy to Blaine's charmander and
used slash for 20. I drew a water energy and attached
it to Misty's Horsea. Next, i evolved Misty's horsea
into Misty's Seadra. then i used tail snap for the
K.O. He brought out charmander, attached a fire energy
to it, and used scratch for 10. I drew another water
energy and attached it to Misty'd seadra. Then i used
Knockout needle for 180 damage and the K.O. He brought
out growith and attached a fire energy to it and said
go. I drew Misty's Psyduck. I didnt even bother to
bench it. I used Knockout Needle for Knock out and the
win because he had no other basics! One of my easyest
wins ever. Score: Balloon Blaster:3 Fire Blast:0

   Meanwhile......

Psyburn defeated Brock in a best of 3 series 2games to
1 (scores Unknown).

Match of the Round: Grill the burgars defeated The
Super Sayian deck 6-5. However, when jonathan, player
of grill the burgars, relized he forgot to put his
Charizards in we counted the number of cards in his
deck and got 64! Because of this, he was disqualified
and the win went to the Super Sayain Deck!

FINAL MATCH NUMBER 1: SUPER SAIYIN DECK VS. PSYBURN
          Saturday, Semtember 16, 2000
     I wasnt paying much attention to this match
because it wasnt mine so it didnt matter who won, id
end up having to play both of them.I do no how it
ended, though. Each player had 1 prize left and
nothing on there benches. Josh (super saiatn deck) had
his brock's onix active. Shawn (psyburn deck) had his
base set gastly active. (i dont no why but base set
gastly is very popular at my pokemon league.) It was
Shawn's turn. His gastly used destony bond. Josh had
his brock's onix fully powered. He used Rock throw.
Origianlly, they said that gastly was K.O.ed and so
was onix so they went into sudden death. While
shuffling for sudden death, i came over and asked them
who was winning. They told me the whole story about
the gastly and the Brock's onix and that they were
shuffleing for sudden death. I thought for a few
seconds then said, "Wait a sec, Gastly is resistant to
Fighting." They both stoped shuffleing and stared.
They agreed to call the match a draw even though i
didnt like that idea. Anyways on to match 2!  


FINALS MATCH NUMBER 2: GETTIN' WIGGY WIT IT VS.
PSYBURN
        Saturday, Septemebr 16, 2000
     Shawn is one of my best friends and we play each
other alot because he lives down the street from my
house, so we always no what kind of deck each of us
are using. Except this time. I had built my deck just
before the tourney so he had just about no clue.
Except for to things: he knew the name of my deck, and
we both kinda have a sixth sence about each others
decks. I got cubone in my first hand and ive used
cubone in decks before so i no how to play him with
cubone. Just keep using snivel and he'll get really
annoyed. However, sometimes it works to his advantage
because it stalls time for him to get his Mr. mimes
out. Anyways, i made cubone my active with Hitmonlee
on my bench. He had out Abra as his active with only a
charmander on his bench.
I went first and sniveled. He attached an energy then
used an energy removal on cubone.Next,he used psyshock
and didnt paralize me. I drew a Marowak so i began to
power up cubone. I attached a fighting energy and used
snivel. He used another energy removal. He attached an
energy to abra then he evolved it into Kadabra an
super psyed me for 30. I drew an energy and attached
it to hitmonlee.I evoled cubone into marowak so i
could survive. He super psyed for a k.o.with hitmonlee
as my only pokemon up against a kadabra i looked
smoked. But i drew a maricle...... A Jigglypuff! I
benched it and attached an energy to it and said go.
He superpsyed for the k.o. I drew an energy and
attached it to jigglypuff and pounded for 20. Then he
superpsyed for 20.It went on for a couple of turns.It
was my turn and i had benched a misty's psyduck. I
drew another marical, and i remember thinking "this
can't be happing!". I had drawn a...... Wigglytuff!  I
attached an energy to jigglypuff and evolved him.  I
did the wasve for 20 and the k.o. He borught out his
charmander, attached an energy to it, and scratched
for 10. I drew a super potion, so i attached an energy
to wigglytuff and used super potion. Then match ended
right about there, but i'll tell u the ending.
Wigglytuff was fully powered and had only 10 damage on
it. I used do the wave for 20. "this match is over" i
thought. Then to my surprise, he benched a pokemon.
Then he said "o wait a sec, thats a Kadabra not an
abra" so he out it back in his hand. he attached a
fire energy to charmander and used ember. I benched
Marril and did the wave to end the match. Final score:
Balloon Blaster:2 Psyburn:2

FINALS MATCH NUMBER 3:BALLOON BLASTER VS. SUPER SAIYAN
         Saturday, Semtember 16, 2000
This was it. If i won, i'd be 2-0 in the finals
matches and i'd win the tourney and shawn and josh
would play for second. If I lost, I'd be 1-1 in the
finals matches, JOsh would win with a finals matches
record of 1-0-1 and shawn would take third with a
finals matches record of 0-1-1. Either way, Shawn was
in third so this was basicly the championship. I got
jigglypuff as my only basic and he had brock's onix
as his only basic. He went first.He attached an energy
and bellowed with paralize. I attached an energy and
said go. He attached an energy and bellowed with no
paralize. I attached an energy and pounded for 20. He
attached a fighting energy and used rock throw.game. i
guess i used all my maricals against shawn.

my final record:3-1

The top 5:

5th place: Brock

4th place: Grill the Burgars

3rd place: Psyburn

2nd place: Balloon Blaster

1st place: Super Sayain Deck

Hmmmmm....... I didnt think the super sayain deck
would be first. I thought it would be in the top 5,
but not first. I finished right around where i thought
i would.
I thought Psyburn would finsh either 1st or second,
depending on what i finished. I thought Grill the
Burgars would have finished higher.

SHOCK OF THE TOURNEY: I'd played this deck before and
i new it was a peice a crap with no real stratagy
except attack with brocks rhydon and use a "lucky 2000
penny" in order to get heads all the time. This deck
really shocked me that it got into the top 5. Ladies
and Gentleman, the "SHOCK OF THE TOURNEY" award goes
to....
BROCK!

This deck worked well, but im gonna mess around with
it before the next tourney.
