Introduction
    Hey Pojo please post this report and Pojo-maniacs! Wassup I just got back
from an awesome tournament there were about 48 people there but only 32 got
into
the tournament. There was a qualification round that’s why the other 16
didn’t get in.
So here is my deck the Wavemaker v1.0..........

Pokemon 14
2x Hitmonchan (screws Tarous, Jigglypuff, Chansey,......)
2x Scyther (hey I gotta have a fighting resistance in this deck; also screws
fighting
pokemon)
2x Movie promo Mewtwo (this guy is one psychic that screws Hitmonlee,
Hitmonchan,.....)
4x Jigglypuff (this is one balloon that screws psychic pokemon)
4x Wigglytuff (the backbone of the deck screws psychic pokemon)
Trainers 21
2x Prof. oak (just in case I have a bad hand; also helps me by filling up my
bench)
3x Bill (free cards!)
3x Pluspower (extra 10 damage)
3x Defender (Wigglytuff stay alive!)
3x Potion (Heal Wigglytuff!)
3x Super Potion (stay calm this might sting a little-Brock when he was about
to spray
the baby Kangaskhan w/super potion)
4x Comp. search (it’s a bird!..... it’s a plane! no it’s Wigglytuff!)

    OK now here’s the objective..... You have to attack with Scyther,
Hitmonchan,
or Mewtwo (depending on the type) then fill up your bench and get a
Wigglytuff.
Then whoop your opponent’s butts with Wigglytuff.

Note: the tournament took four meetings.

Qualifications!
    Day 1 Saturday September 30, 2000 - Qualification Rounds (you have to win
4 out of 7 matches against  different opponent’s to get in the tournament
Play w/4
prizes)

Round 1
Me vs. Haymaker
    On my fist hand I got 3 psy; 1 grass; 1 MP Mewtwo; 1 bills; and 1 comp.
search.
My opponent had a Electabuzz and three pokemon on bench 2 Hitmonchan, and
Scyther. First I comp. search my Scyther put 1 psy NRG and energy absorbed. My
opponent gave me 10 damage and I gave him 40. Opponents turn he hits me with
Thunder Punch (30 damage) and I kill him with Psyburn. He puts out his
Scyther puts
a grass energy and sword dances. I put a fighting energy that I got the turn
before and use a Super Potion that I just got then Psyburn. He adds a energy
to Hitmonchan giving him enough energy to Special Punch. I kill his Scyther
(2 more prizes to go). My opponent sends his Hitmonchan and puts another
Scyther adds a grass energy to him and energy removals me and Special
Punches. I add another energy and Psyburn. My opponent sends out his Scyther
adds a double colorless and Slashes. I send out my Scyther I got earlier my
Scyther is already charge up so I Slash. My opponent Sword Dances and I Slash
my opponent Slashes back and I Slash for the win!

Round 2
Me vs. The kid called it Fazap (Fire and Electric)
    Fazap strange name..... On my first hand I got Wigglytuff; Jigglypuff;
Double
colorless; Hitmonchan; 2 fighting, and 1 psy. And just my luck my opponent had
Electabuzz at play and 2 Magmars at bench. He went first he gave me 10 damage
and I gave him 40 due to weakness. He Thunder Punched me and I killed him. He
send
out his Magmar and I killed him. Then I killed his other Magmar. No pokemon
sooooo sorry.
 
Round 3
Me vs. The kid called it Hitmondance (Raindance w/Hitmonchans)
    OK on my first hand I got 2 Hitmonchan; 3 fighting energy; 1 bill; 1 Oak.
My
opponent went first she had a Hitmonchan in play she gave 20 damage and I
gave 20
back. She did the same thing again when it was my turn I attached a defender
to
Hitmonchan and Jabbed ‘em. She did nothing except attached a water energy to
Squritle. I Special Punched her Hitmonchan and killed him. She send out
Squritle and did Bubble. She didn’t paralyze me thank God, I killed her
Squritle for the win.

Round 4
Me vs. The kid called it Papercut (Scyther deck)
    My first hand I got  Jigglypuff; MP Mewtwo; 3 psy; Double Colorless; and
comp. search. I comp. search Wigglytuff and energy absorbed. My opponent
attached a Double Colorless to Scyther. I attached the Double colorless to
Jigglypuff and evolved; attacked w/Psyburn. Opponent Slashes. I Psyburn.
Opponent sends
Hitmonchan and Jabs. I Psyburn for the win.
    Conclusion for day 1 - I am extremely tired and I had a long day.

I’m Qualified!
    OK here’s how it works, if your qualified you get into the tournament if
your
not then you participate in the loser’s racket tournament. If you lose your
eliminated! The winner gets to have a chance to defeat the Present Champ. You
cannot use a different deck but you can upgrade it.

    Day 2 Sunday October 1, 2000 - Matches 1-2  (starting matches and
semi-quarter matches)

Round 1 (Starting Match)
Me vs. Upgraded Fazap (yes him again)
    The kid said he upgraded it last night...... My first hand I got 1 of
each energy
in the deck; Jigglypuff; Wigglytuff; and Hitmonchan. I send out Hitmonchan
and put
Jigglypuff on the bench. Then I Jabbed ‘em in the sucker. His Electabuzz w/30
damage left (He never learns) Thunder Shocks me. I Jabbed him back. He send
out his Hitmonchan (that is what he threw in to upgrade the deck) and Jabs.
Then I Special Punch ‘em. He Jabs. Then I Special Punch. Here comes another
Electabuzz I could tell that he was thinking heads...heads...heads... I was
thinking tails...tails...tails... the coin flips........tails! I Special
Punch for the win!

Round 2 (Semi-quarter Match)
Me vs. Raindance
    On my first hand I got 2 Scyther; 1 Hitmonchan; and 4 fighting. I send
out my
Hitmonchan and Jabbed. She did Bubble and paralyzed me! I attached an energy
to
Hitmonchan. She bubbles again but this time I didn’t get paralyzed. I Special
Punch
for the win!
    Conclusion for day 2 - Yesterday was tiring enough today I’m sleeping at
8:00PM.

The Last Matches
    Day 3 Monday October 2, 2000 - Matches 3-5 (Quarter finals; Semifinals;
and finals.)

Round 3 (Quarter Finals)
Me vs. Potpourri deck
    My first hand (it was bad) was 2 psy; 3 fighting; and a Hitmonchan. My
opponent has a Scyther at play (ohhhh no!) and 2 pokemon at bench; Hitmonchan
and Magmar. I attached a fighting energy to Hitmonchan and put the MP Mewtwo
that I just got. My opponent attached a grass energy to Scyther and Sword
Dances. I
attached a psy energy to Hitmonchan. My opponent attached a fire energy to
Scyther
and Sword Dances. I retreat Hitmonchan and energy Absorb w/Mewtwo. Opponent
Sword Dances. I Psyburns and opponent retreats Scyther and puts out Magmar. I
Psyburn again. He attaches a fire energy to Magmar and Smokescreens. I coin
flip......heads! I Psyburn for the kill. He sends out Scyther and I Psyburn
for the kill.
My opponent sends out Hitmonchan and I Psyburn for the win!

Round 4 (Semifinals)
Me vs. The Kid called it Gust of Hurricane
    My first hand was like the best 2 Jigglypuff; 1 Wigglytuff; 1 Hitmonchan;
2
fighting; and 1 Double Colorless. I put my Hitmonchan at play and Jabbed. My
opponent had a Kangaskhan out so he used fetch. Thank God I drew a Pluspower,
I
attached the Double Colorless energy to Jigglypuff and evolved ‘em then I
attacked
Kangaskhan for the kill. We battled for a long time and I filled up my bench.
I
whooped his butt with Wigglytuff.

Round 5 (Finals)
Me vs. A full on fire deck
    My first hand I got 1 Psy; 1 Scyther; 1 Jigglypuff;1 Bill; 1 Comp.
search; 1
Defender; and a Super Potion. I put Jigglypuff in play. My opponent had a
Charmander at play and Magmar at bench. I used Lullaby. He is still asleep
and I used pound. Still asleep then I used Pound. I finally filled up my
bench and Comp. search Wigglytuff evolved and whooped butt. And guess what I
won!
    Conclusion for day 3 - Today wasn’t very tiring I think I’m gonna  brag
to my
friends.
And now the Main Event!
    Day 4 Tuesday October 3, 2000 - The Main Event is held today! Beat the
Present Champ and become the present champ.

Round 6 The Main Event
Me vs. Present Champ (w/Metronome deck)
    I was wondering what kind of deck he had........ OK my first hand was 2
fighting energy; 2 Hitmonchan; 2 Pluspower; and 1 defender. I send out my
Hitmonchan and Jabs his Chansey giving him 40 damage. He attaches a Double
Colorless energy to Chansey and Scrunches (heads). I add another energy to
Hitmonchan. And he Scrunches again (tails ha..ha..). I kill his Chansey. 5
more prizes to go. He send out his Clefairy and evolves ‘em and does
metronome. He does 40 damage to me and I killed him. He sends out his
Kangaskhan and attaches a Defender and Fetches. I attach the 2 pluspowers I
got at the starting and gives him 80 damage. He Fetches and I killed him. 3
more prizes to go! He sends out his Clefairy and I killed him w/Special
Punch. He sends out his Chansey and Double-Edges me. I send out my other
Hitmonchan and killed his Chansey. Then he sends out his Doduo and I Special
Punch him to death. I won!

    Conclusion for day 4 - I am gonna brag to my friends about this!
