                    Well, I' ve never posted a report about my deck, this was
my first tournament.  I was a little shaky and didn't know what to do.  Since
I was shaky, I was up till midnight reading all of your magazines.  They
helped a lot!
It seemed like forever, but by 1:00 pm I was playing in the tourney and was
riding high.  I made a few old fashioned decks to see if I could stop the
mostly rain dance decks loaded with Rockets.  It ended up working.  Here's my
deck:

   Round 1
  vs. Dustin with a raindance deck
     (I know it was a bad idea to go against a rain dance with fire pokemon
but I didn't know then.) I started with an abra, vulpix, and a fossil gastly.
He got a squirtle, an articuno, and an evee. I started with my gastly and he
started with a rocket evee. I won the flip and put down a psy energy on
gastly.  I licked and paralyzed.  He flipped and was back. He attached an
energy and used tackle.  I then got a fossil haunter and made short of him
with nightmare and transparency.  He got another evee, though, then evolved
it into dark vaporeon. While I was nailing his evee, he evolved his squirtle
into blastoise with poke breeder and  fully powered it.   He sent that out
and tried to kill me, but transparency kept me in it for 3 turns. I had
powered up my abra and got kadabra, and super psyed and killed it.  After
awhile I was down to 2 prizes and he was down to one.  He had a polywrath,
and I had an injured kadabra, (again) with 30 damage on it.  It was all I had
left so I gust of winded and killed his dark vaporeon with a pluspower.  Then
he brought out the blastoise and wiped me out.

    Round 2:
against a native girl there with water/grass deck
        Well I got down, and was  thinking the world was over (by the way
that last match turned out) but then a light came and I tried to go at it
again.  I faced a native girl there and she had another water deck, but I
still had a chance at beating her grass pokemon. So I went out there trying
my hardest but I had no luck.I started with Jiggly and abra. She got evee,
dark vaporeon and meowth.She won the flip and sent out evee while I sent out
abra. I didn't get any energies for awhile and sent me to an early grave. I
sent out jiggly and drew a bill, used it and I got charmander, and a psy
energy.I used my energy on jiggly and put her to sleep, but she woke up next
turn. She then evolved into dark vaporeon and used wirlpool. I had no energys
so I used gambler and got 1 card. She then used bite and almost killed me. I
couldn't do scwat so she then killed me. To make a long story short she ended
up with 1 prize and me with three. I had a fully powered kadabra(with 30
damage on it) and she had a fully powered wepingbell(with 50 damage on it).
It was my turn and I killed it. She then sent out a fully powered dark
vaporeon and sent me to my grave.
    score 0-2

    Round 3:
against a native girl there with water/grass deck(again)
    I knew I could beat this girl with more luck and with my energies so I
asked her to a rematch. I started with Jigglypuff and abra.  She got dark
vaporeon, rocket evee, bellsprout, and weepinbell.  She won the flip and sent
out evee, I sent out jiggly.  She put down an energy and tackled me for ten
damage.  I laid down an energy and put her to sleep with lullaby.  She got
out another energy and woke up and sand attacked me.  Then I got an almost
fully powered kadabra(one energy left!)on my bench.I got jiggly powered and
pounded for 20.(the sand attack didn't work.) She then evolved into Dark
Vaporeon added an energy and whirlpooled and I had to discard an energy. I
pounded while jiggly was on the verge of of being K.O'd.She used bite and
killed me. I brought out Kadabra attached an energy and super psy'd and
killed it. It got down to another 2 prizes for me, and 1 for her. I had out a
fully powered gengar, and no other basic's left.(he had 30 damage on it.)she
had a Closter and a wepinbell with 20 damage on it.(both fully powered) I
used dark mind on her wepinbell and gave 10 damage to cloister. She razord
leaf'd me for 30. I gust of winded out her closter and put down my defender
and my plus power, and killed her cloister. She sent out her wepinbell and
razor leaf'd me, but my defender blocked 20 of it. I then K.O'd her wepinbell
and got my last prize!

    I know I didn't do so well but the magazines did help and I will get her
next time and get Austin back too. I thought I did well considering the fact
that I' ve only played against my family. I could have done beter with some
oaks but if you don't have one you can't put it in a deck. Well, that was my
first tourney and I learned a lot well see ya later.
