My last winning tournament deck I posted was a
while ago. It was my A-Mews-Ing Falcon Deck. I returned to
Gigawave, my best deck, until Gym Heroes came out. Then I switched.
This is actually one of the best decks I've ever made, and it just might
become as popular as Gigawave did.
Anyway - here is the deck:
Misty's Madness
4 Misty's Poliwag
3 Misty's Poliwhirl
2 Misty's Poliwrath
4 Misty's Tentacool
3 Misty's Tentacruel
2 Articuno
3 Lapras
2 Misty
2 Cerulean City Gym
2 Poke Ball
3 Gust Of Wind
2 Computer Search
3 PlusPower
21 Water Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
This deck is the same as it started and it's quite
a wizard. I could possibly drop the 2 Poke Ball cards for 2 more Misty
cards. All in all though, this deck is simply outstanding.
Round 1 vs Rick (Fire Blast Deck)
I'd never faced Rick before, so this one was new.
He fielded a Charmander to my Misty's Poliwag. He retreated on his first
turn and brought out Snorlax. I slowly KO'd it with Tail Wrap, allowing
me to draw my first prize (a Misty's Poliwhirl). A few turns later, I
drew a Misty's Poliwrath and evolved my Poliwhirl. I used Water Ring on
2 Charmander, a Charmeleon, a Flareon, and a Ninetales. With that, I won
easily.
1-0
Round 2 vs Chris (Amazon Jungle Deck)
Chris was a newcomer to Dreamers, and I was an
experienced player there. He started off with 3 Bellsprout, an Oddish,
and a Rattata. However, he had no Energy. I used Lapras to get
through 2 Bellsprout and Oddish before has evolved has Rattata into Raticate
and KO'd my Lapras. I sent out a Misty's Tentacool and evolved it next
turn. Jellyfish Poison was enough to take out Raticate, a Gloom, and a
Victreebel.
2-0
Round 3 vs Jane (Gigawave Deck)
Jane was really good, and since I invented the
famous Gigawave deck, I knew how to face it. Even with water Pokemon.
She went first with a Jungle Pikachu and benched 3 Jigglypuffs. Pikachu
KO'd Lapras on turn three, so I decided to send out Misty's Tentacruel (I
evolved it on the bench). Since I'd been attached Energy only to Misty's
Tentacool/Tentacruel I was ready to attack on turn three with a Double
Colorless and the 2 water energy. I KO'd Pikachu, 2 Jigglypuff, and a
Wigglytuff (that had no bench to work with), to claim victory.
3-0
Semi-finals vs Alexander
(Thunder-Mime Deck)
He started with a Fossil Zapdos to my Lapras.
He couldn't get enough energy to use Thundstorm, and he couldn't seem to get
any more basics either. I KO'd his Zapdos to win a quick match.
4-0
Finals vs John (Avalanche Deck)
He got a Geodude to start against my Articuno.
I built up Articuno with 3 water energy and used Freezedry to paralyze it.
He evolved a benched Geodude into Golem with a Pokemon Breeder. I KO'd
Geodude with another Freezedry, and Golem with a Freezedry and a Blizzard.
He had no more basics, so I won!
Final Record 5-0
My deck has proved it's strength once, and now I'm
trying to improve it. My reward for winning was 10 gym heroes booster
packs. I got 4 holofoils. They were Erika's Dragonair, Lt. Surge's
Fearow, Brock's Rhydon, and Rocket's Scyther. My other rares were 3
Misty's Tentacool, a Lt. Surge's Raichu, a Sabrina's Venomoth, and a No
Removal Gym.
Thanks for reading!!
