Here a short description about how my deck work :
My main attacker is Snorlax and Scyther and my bench pokemon is Dark Gloom (confuser)
and Dark Vileplume (NO TRAINER!!!). I confuse their active Pokemon while mine (Snorlax)
can't be!. I was tired to play HAYMAKER and play against HAYMAKER too, so I
found a way to anger my opponent.
Confuser of hell deck.
4 Scyther
4 Snorlax
4 Oddish (or Oddish TR)
4 Dark Gloom
4 Dark Vileplume
2 Ditto
3 Bill
2 Professor Oak
1 Professor Elm
3 The Boss's Way
2 Pokemon Trader
2 Gold Berry
2 Computer Search
2 Challenge!
2 No Removal Gym
15 Grass Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
2 game per round. (sorry I report one duel on some round because I can't remember all the matches)
Round 1 vs Jean-Francois (Raindance (no Wartortle))
At the start of the game, he start with Lapras against my
Scyther. I have to momemtum with 1 Oak to get some Oddish on my bench and search
my deck with Boss's way to get out Dark Gloom on turn 2 but i have 1 grass
energy, argghh. At least, I can confuse the active pokemon. I flip, Head so
Lapras is confuse. His turn, He put a squirtle and Articuno on his bench and
attack succesfully with lapras. My turn, I take a chance to put Dark Vileplume
on my bench to stop the trainer because of his Squirtle. I ask him if he has any
Wartortle and he said NO. I Retreat my Scyther for another fresh one and put 1
Grass for Sword Dance. He start to boost an Articuno to paralyse me and Freeze
Dry. Anytime he need a flip, he's always flip a HEAD. His pokemon was always
confuse and flip always HEAD for his attack or Retreat. So I was not in the game
and he won.
I lost 2 games : 0-1-0 0pts
Round 2 vs ??? with Preconstruct deck of Gym Heroes
I don't really remember this duel but he deck was so weak. I have 3 Dark Gloom
with a Scyther, a Fully loaded Snorlax on my bench and one Active Snorlax ready
to attack with a Gold Berry. I put a Dark Vileplume to stop his TRAINER (mine
too, but my deck doesn't depend on TRAINER). So I won Easily for my first
victory.
I won 2 games : 1-1-0 3pts
Round 3 vs Eric Langevin (my friend) with Haymaker Wiggly
This game was pretty long because we ran out of time. I was ahead in prize so I
won. Again, Dark Gloom and Dark Vileplume stop the Haymaker.
I won the first and draw for the second so I won the duel : 2-1-0 6pts
Round 4 vs J. Phillipe Therriaula with Haymaker (Electabuzz, Scyther,
Movie Mewtwo)
The first round, near the end of the game (because we have 1 prize left each)
with 3 card left in my deck, he can't attack because he always retreating (he
pokemon was always confuse) so I tried to attack the best I can for taking my
last prize. I have my Snorlax and Bench Dark Vileplume, Dark Gloom, Scyther and
Ditto (with 1 energy). He has a Scyther as active with no bench!. I confuse
Scyther and I Bodyslam it with Snorlax and paralyse. He draw, end its turn
(can't play trainer :). My turn, 2 card left, I attack again but no paralyse.
His turn, he draw... a Movie Mewtwo (arrgg). He try to retreat and HEAD (arrgg
again), so he put a fresh Mewtwo as active. 1 card left in my deck, I confuse
him again and attack. After that I realize I made a big mistake, I forgot put
some energy on Ditto for killing Mewtwo in one hit. His turn, he pass. I drew my
last card and 30 damage but Mewtwo still alive... I lost by my fault...
He won the first and I won the second for a Draw : 2-1-1 7pts
Round 5 vs Really don't remember at all.
Sorry about this one but I don't remember. I'm sure I had Snorlax as active with
some Dark Gloom and Dark Vileplume to stop him.
I won 2 games : 3-1-1 10pts
The winner was Jesse with 13 pts, my friend Eric Langevin finish 2nd with 10
pts equal with me but in tie breaker, my friend have better winning average then
me (Calculate by the DCI Reporter Software by Wizards of the Coast).
