Good Luck (You'll Need It) Grass/Colorless

I really needed to attend a tourmament besides the STS Qualifier, so my friend
Javon and I went! The people here are rated high in DCI, but I'm no slouch!
Pokemon: 18
3 Grimer
3 Dark Muk
3 Scyther
1 R. Scyther
2 Base Clefairy (Wish I had more Neo...)
1 Neo Clefairy
3 Clefable
2 Ditto
Trainers: 25
4 SER
3 Oak
3 RSA
3 Item Finder
2 CP Search
2 Rocket's Trap
2 GOW
2 NGR
2 Narrow Gym
2 Bill
Energy: 17
13 Grass
4 Double Colorless
Round 1: ??? with Grass/Electric deck
I can't remember his name. I used Ditto to handle a couple Tangelas and a Jungle
Pikachu. He got out a Scy, but I SER'ed it and sent out Dark Muk to knock out
his last Poke for the win.
1-0
Round 2: Kevin with Weird Hay
I started out with Scy and R. Scy to... 2 F. Magmars! AAACK! I thought I was a
goner, but he didn't poison Scyther and I SER'ed him constantly. I finally
managed to use R. Trap on him and then sent out Dark Muk to poison his
Energyless Pokes. Time was called just in time to prevent a tie, with prizes
being 1-2 in my favor and my Ditto against a Magmar with 60 and Poison on it.
2-0
Round 3: Javon with Wiggly/Zap/Chansey deck
We had practiced our decks the night before, so we knew each other's strategy
well. It was my most boring match, though. I managed to knock out his R. Zap
with my Clefable, but then he sent out a Chansey to stall. We both kept using
Scrunch until time was called with prizes 5-6.
3-0
Round 4: Philip Elliot with Classic Hay
It started out his Buzz to my Scy, and we kept removing each other's energy. He
never drew an Oak and I kept kept SERing and R. Trapping him. I finally used R.
Scyther's Blinding Scythe to take out his energyless Buzz and Chans.
4-0
Round 5: Scott Palmer and Classic Haymaker
I thought I would lose second turn, because he used Swords Dance and I had a
lone R. Scyther. But thanks to Shadow Images and that HUGE Lugia coin for the
Neo deck, it took him about 4 turns to finally hit Scy, and by then, Ditto and
Dark Muk had made the scene. I thought I had him with Dk. Muk, but he SERed it
and Trapped my hand. He recovered first by getting some Energy and knocked out
my last Pokes.
4-1
Round 6: Eric Perdue with ANOTHER Classic Haymaker
These Hays are popular here! Anyway, it was game of "build up Energy, get
it Removed" for Eric. Unfortunatley, he played Energy Revtrievals and got
it back. He took all of his prizes, while I still had 3.
4-2
That was game for everyone. They tallied it up and announced the age group
winners. Javon won in the 11-14 division, and I think Scott took 15+. I came in
third overall, which wasn't too bad. Time for my first Props and Slops.
Props to:
-Javon, who won 3 Neo packs with Skarmory, Cleffa, and Magby.
-Logan's for holding the tournament.
-Everyone I played for giving a challenge and being good sports, win or lose.
-My dad, for driving me.
Slops to:
The 1st Ed. pack I got for having a stupid Arcade Game in it.
