Erika's Megania Ghosts

I am a contender from the town of Bendigo, and when
I heard about the Poke'mon Leauge, I just had to enter. I tested my deck
out in a tournament at school and it performed well, so I went to Melbourne to
test my skills against the best of the best.

First, I battled a Feralgatr deck. It was
really easy, because my opponent had only a Totodile (40HP) on his bench.
I confused him with Erika's Oddish, then he knocked himself out by flipping
tails.
Second, I had a Kangaskhan deck. This was a
little harder, but once again, I confused him, this time with Erika's Gloom
while Kangaskhan was still powering up. I poisoned him after that, and he
knocked himself out once again by flipping tails.
Third, even though I had the advantage, was much
harder. My opponent used the Brock's Golem lineup and 4 Rocket's
Hitmonchan. Rocket's Hitmonchan used Crosscounter, killing my Sabrina's
Haunter. I knocked Hitmon out with Sabrina's Gengar that was still
powering up. Next, my Erika's Vileplume killed Brock's Geodude and Brock's
Onix (100HP) in two shots. I won because he ran out of benched
Poke'mon. This was the only match in which prizes were taken by my
opponent.
My fourth and final round was the one that did me
in. I thought my deck was pretty safe
because fire decks were pretty uncommon, but I was wrong. A promo Moltres
killed Erika's Gloom early on and then a Chikorita that was gusted out.
Sabrina's Gengar killed Fossil Magmar in 2 turns, but was killed by a Dark
Charizard. The Dark Charizard was my killer, with my opponent using Ecogym
to recycle energy. Finally, Meganium was killed with one flip of
heads.
I haven't changed the deck much since the Leauge,
but have tried out in a local tournament at a card dealers shop. The prize
was the winner's selection of 10 promo cards. I won that pretty easely,
but I cannot remember what I was up against.
