I entered this tourney 13-0. My deck focuses on the Old School Style
Haymaker approach while using new Neo Genesis cards to stall. This was a
two-loss elimination tourney, so even though I lost one, I still won.

=============================================================
Round 1: VS Melissa (Damage Swap)
I won easily without Scyther. I built up 'Buzz and attacked. I
gusted out
both of her Chanseys and KO'd them. Her Mewtwo got me. Then I
Zzzapped them
with Pichu, KO'ing her Mr. Mime and Alakazam, while Mewtwo couldn't hit me at
all because Melissa kept flipping tails on the baby rule. I won.
1-0
Round 2: VS Michael (Rain Dance)
The win was in the bag, or so I thought. After KO'ing Blastoise,
Articuno,
Lapras, and Feraligatr, he hit me with a Quagsire. I retreated and Scyther
took 'em out! Last but not least, he had a back up in the form of Neo
Magmar. With it's Colorless attack, he KO'd Scyther, leaving me, him,
Magmar, and Electabuzz. I Thunder Punched it and got him good, but a Gold
Berry saved his life. I lost.
1-1
Round 3: VS Alyssa (Eeveetron)
Her Flareon got me, but luckily I retreated and Electabuzz shocked her out
of
her daydream. I won.
2-1
Semifinals: VS Alex (Metronome Deck)
I was in a tough situation, 'cause all I had out was a Cleffa. I used
eek
and got out an Electabuzz, Shocking her to death. The battle was over in
mere minutes.
3-1
Finals: VS Michael (Rain Dance)
I'm facing Michael again!! I made a few modifications, switching the
Cleffa
for Mantine and adding some water energy (duh!). I was ready. I got
out a
'Buzz and attacked. I retreated over and over to match up. At last,
I had
him down to his Magmar, and proudly I said goodbye, KO'ing it with Mantine.
I won the tourney, bragging rights, and a box of Japanese Neo 3 packs, where
I got a Celebi, Ho-oh, 2 Enteis, and even a Shining Gyarados!!
4-1
My DCI streak ended, leaving me with a 17-1 record. I still won, anyway,
and
that's what counts!
Props and Slops:
Props to everybody. Especially Michael, who beat me once and fought me
again
in the finals. Me and Michael shook hands and promised a rematch at the
next
tournament.
