This is my first killer deck report, and this was our first tournament of the year. The way this tournament worked was that each person payed a fee of $ 2.00 to enter, then we split the 20 participants into two divisions of ten, then each person played a single elimination style for two rounds. After the elimination rounds, the remaining players left from both divisions played in a round robin where each player played each other once and the top five players got prizes. Now on to my deck. Yeah, it’s another Wiggly deck but as you guys probably know, wiggly decks are the best. This deck was named after an Our Lady Peace song from their new CD.

It was kind of disappointing that we only had 20 people attending that’s about half of our regular attendance but I guess I can understand because the roads were bad from the weather, We got like 10 to 15 cm’s of snow that morning. Now on to the tourney.

 

 

 

 

Round 1 Single Elimination

 

Are You Sad/Kid with a psy/colourless deck

 

This was a pretty quick match. In my hand I got a Chan, Jiggly and a couple of Buzz. His starting Pokemon were Blaines Tauros, Sabrinas Psyduck and Natu. My Chan was taking care of his Pokemon, they were going down like flies, easy to say I won.

Round 2 Single Elimination

 

Are You Sad/Rory with a fighting/colourless deck

 

This was a good match and I was a bit worried at the start because he had Hitmonlee out and I had my Jiggly out. He went first and laid an energy to Hitmonlee. Then I laid an energy to Jiggly and put him to sleep. He woke up and laid another energy to Hitmonlee and stretch kicked my ditto on the bench. Then I laid a Dce to Jiggly, Rsa his oak and then I oaked, laid Wiggly down and filled the bench and waved for the win.

After the round robin me, my friend Matt, Jamie, Albert and Jason were left. This round decided the place position. These matches only had three prizes.

 

First Match of Round Robin

 

Are You Sad/ Matt with a Tr Mewtwo/Tr Zapdos deck

 

I helped come up with the idea for this deck and at first I thought I was going to regret it but Wiggly and plus powers equal win, His Tr Zapdos and Mewtwo couldn’t take the heat and also thanks to the psy resistance, that helped too.

Second Match of Round Robin

 

Are You Sad/Jamie with a Wiggly/Promo Mewtwo deck

 

Theres not to much you can do when Chancey’s on the opposite end of the table, he cleared the house in this one, this was over before it started.

Third Match of Round Robin

 

Are You Sad/Albert with a Raichu/Wiggly/scyther deck

 

This deck he was using was a remake of an old deck I used but better. It wasn’t better than (Are You Sad) though. I got wiggly out second turn with a full bench and I took out all his Pikachus and Jigglys.

Fourth Match of Round Robin

 

Are you Sad/Jason with a Tr Zapdos/ Buzz deck

 

Jason is the best player there and I knew before the tourney he was going to win. He had out Buzz and Tr Zapdos against my lone Jiggly he destroyed me in this one. I made some stupid mistakes (my bad)and he won.

Tie breaker Match

 

Are You Sad/Matt/ This match decided second place

 

This was the final match of the day and it was a good one. My wiggly was chopping down his pokemon, I only had one more prize left to take. He killed my wiggly with buzz but he never saw the Tr Zapdos I had pumped up on the bench, needless to say this match was over and I won.
