Pikachu Sparkles Hi everyone, thanks for reading my deck report. This was my first
tournament and I decided to try this deck because it can beat most of my
friends' decks, and it came through this time too! I may not be used to
tournament play but all those practice games came in handy, especially in Round
2 versus the water deck. Anyways, on to the deck and the

Round 1 versus Nick with Fire-Electric (Typhlosion,
Electabuzz)
I lost the opening flip but he started with
Cyndaquil and flipped tails after fireworks, so he had to discard one energy. I
used Pikachu's quick attack and flipped heads doing 30 damage, he evolved into
Quilava but didn't have enough energy to attack, I used quick attack again,
flipped heads, did 30 damage and k.o.'ed Quilava...

Round 2
versus Laura with Water (Feraligater, Dewgong)
I won the opening
flip and used Pikachu's quick attack but flipped tails doing only 10 damage to
her Totodile. She used fury swipes and flipped THREE heads so she did 30 damage
to Pikachu. I retreated Pikachu and brought out Mareep but couldn't attack this
turn, and she used Totodile's fury swipes again but flipped all tails, so she
did only 10 damage. I used thundershock and did 20 damage, then flipped heads
and paralyzed Totodile, but she didn't retreat on her turn. I retreated Mareep
and brought out Pikachu, used quick attack, flipped heads and did 30 damage,
which k.o.'ed Totodile...

Round 3 versus Becki with
Psychic-Normal (Alakazam, Wigglytuff)
I lost the opening flip
but she had Igglybuff and couldn't attack because I had no Pokemon with Pokemon
Powers benched. I used Pichu's Zzzap and did 20 damage. She evolved Igglybuff
into Jigglypuff and used pound, which was 20 damage. I evolved Pichu into
Pikachu and used quick attack. I flipped heads which did 30 damage, and she used
pound again which did 20 more damage. I evolved Pikachu into Raichu and used
agility, doing 20 damage and k.o.'ing Jigglypuff...

Round 4
versus Kyle with Grass (Jumpluff, Butterfree)
This round was
easy. I k.o.'ed his Hoppip with Pikachu's quick attack first
turn.

Round 5 (final) versus Luke with Fire (Charizard,
Typhlosion)
This round was the toughest yet, but still wasn't
too bad. I won the coin toss and started with Pikachu, and he started with
Charmander. I used quick attack and flipped heads, doing 30 damage, and he used
scratch, doing 10 damage. I used quick attack again but flipped tails so I only
did 10 damage, and he evolved into Charmeleon. He didn't have enough attached
energy to attack so I used agility and flipped heads, preventing all damage next
turn and doing 20 damage. He retreated Charmeleon, brought out Cyndaquil, but
didn't attack because of the effects of Pikachu's agility. I evolved Pikachu
into Raichu and used thunder, k.o.'ing Cyndaquil.

This
tournament didn't have one winner but 6, one in each division (6-7, 8-9, 10-11,
12-13, 14-15, and 16 and up). There were only 10 players in each division,
divided into groups of 5 players each, so the last match I played was the end
match for my division because I defeated my first four opponents, and when I won
the last match I won in my division. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait for the
next one.
