Before the event: ;/. ;\. Omg. There were no signs in Salt Lake, and it took us 3 hours to find the place. Then we had to wait more and more and more. =\...The city plain sucks, ty. Anyway,I playtested awhile when people started showing up. Muk and Kak showed up. I won all the playtest games and such. I had a great time, and I hope everyone else had a great time also. And btw, sorry this is late, due to the lack of me being able to get on a computer during my vacation. =\.. It's very lame. Anyway, onto the report. Match 1: Psychic Deck My first match was supposed to be against Cameron with Entei/Cargo, but, There was a mix-up and there were 15+ people in the 11-14 pairings. Therefore I played a kid with a Psychic deck. I played him again in the Quarter Finals. He was a cool guy with horrible luck, and used a Psychic variant with Espeon and Promo Mewtwo. A pretty good deck, yet, my weakness, If I may add. But Crobat is godly. ;x. I almost got the perfect hand, 1 Krow, 2 RSA, 2 Erika, 1 IOR, 1 Darkness. Double Erika starts the game, as I go first, IOR, double RSA, the game was almost over, From time in and out I managed to pull off another Murkrow, and 2 Crobats. The game was over. I had won my first match. This also wasn't the first time Murkrow saved me so. 1-0 3 pts. Match 2: Kid w/ Random fire deck =/. I started with a crappy hand for one, and for two, he got some crappy combo out fast before I could say "Your FACE" and bring up a Crobat and own all. It was so idiotic I forgot what it was. Well, anyway, I was up 3-4 prizes and he decides he forgets to draw a prize. On his next turn, I agreed to let him take the prize which THEN IN FACT costed me the game. The nice guy I am... /me coughs. We then played, again Murkrow owning. So it then came down to a 1-1 prize. Murkrow, Focus Band, 40 Damage. His Cyndaquil, 40 damage, his turn. Fire energy to Cyndaquil knock out Murkrow. Focus Roll [flip, whatever Dice > Coin] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! That was my first loss, and I won't even explain what happened after that. I couldn't lose again, but yes, I could, because at the top 8 some people were like 2-3...;/. That match, again, was crap. 1-1 3 pts. Lunch Break My dad got us cheeseburgers while Muk was still playing and getting killed with his original dark Gengar deck he entitled "The Deck". Rofl. He won 1st in New Mexico 15+ which really cracked me up even though he's 14. Anyway, I made an awesome trade. I got some promos I needed, and a Dark Gengar. And even a second Espeon! All for a Shining Raichu and some crappy holos/non-holos I had. I then played a staff member dude. He was pretty cool, "The Fish King" lol.. I beat him with Blasty, but a crappier version of it. He played maker. It was a pretty awesome match, but I ended up pulling off some awesome combo at the end therefore Winning the game. I think in e-2 there's a sweet card that will change the ways of Blastoise. AWESOMe card it will be. Well anyway, it's time for Round 3. Match 3 - Crobat I knew I couldn't lose this match. I don't even remember what he played, again, I faintly remember playing a Crobat deck lol, but nevertheless, It was a quick game. I only remember a turn 2 Murkrow, Turn 3 Crobat. It was over very very fast. The guy couldn't get anything out, and when he did, Double Gust KO. ;). 2-1 6 pts. Match 4- Cameron w/ Entei/Cargo Whoa. This guy was pretty cool. He did NOT look 11-14 though. I was nervous about this match mostly because he played Entei/Cargo. David gave me some hints before the match like the fact that Cameron screwed up a lot. So we rolled, I go first. He has Cleffa aganst my (read below). OMG!! I sum this match into one word. "Tyrogue". 3-1 9 pts. So me and Muk played a draft. Draft is seriously awesome. He made a water type variant, and I made a Dark Exeggutor and Dark Forretress deck type thing with Unowns and most importantly Unown X, a cool thing to get in draft. Due to our 20 Card decks, and 2 packs each, we only played 2 Prizes. I had fun. Muk got 11/13 in the 15+ LOL. 4 packs isn't bad for $5. ;x. He also got Light Dragonite, a card he'd been looking for. ;x. Match 5- Psychic Deck I forgot what kind of psychic deck, but it was pretty good. I had no trouble getting out a nice line of Crobat turn 3, only to be killed 2 turns later. I stalled with Cleffy and got out a murkrow line, and then short after got out an awesome Crobat line, so the game was almost over. I had trouble killing off the Mewtwos. Awesome guy with a pretty good deck. Props to him. 4-1 12 pts. OMG I made top 8! Kak entered 5-0 and muk started hanging around more since He lost the 15+. He wished me very good luck, and Although I tried to disqualify myself in round 1, I always had atleast 1/2 judges around my Table. My matches had 1/2 of the attention, as kak's had the other. Ours were the most interesting. Well, here we go, Top 8. Go me. Quarter Finals: Psychic Deck from Round 1 Great hand. I opened up with Krow and a darkness. Passed turn. He tried to get out Espeon[I think he only had 1 in his deck], HEADS. I thought it was over. BUT! He didn't get Espeon in his deck! It was in his Prizes! I ended up getting an Awesome hand off of an Elm and Dominatinghis eevee. After that he got out an umbreon. I got 4x heads on Crobat and KO'd it. It was over after that. I killed off his Eevee's and his Mewtwo while getting out yet another Crobat. Oh my! The Match was over by then. I had advanced Top 4. 5-1 Advanced. Whoa, Top 4! Crazy.. Well, Here we go, the deck my Bell deck fears...Entei/Cargo. Semifinals vs Cameron w/ Entei/Cargo Omg.. This match was very long. He made some very critical mistakes, or that's what David said after the match. It was very drawn out, but I got out a Crobat, him, cargo. It got killed and I used Murkrow to stall like heck. Murkrow stalled me time to get out a Crobat. I managed to kill 1 Entei, and 1 Cargo. Prize count was 4-3 me. Murkrow managed another KO. 4-2. Then, the secret weapon. PICHU. Pichu KOd a damaged Entei, 40 on active Entei, then BOOM. Murkrow KO Entei for the game. Oh my, Finals. 6-1 Advanced. Now I got the perfect chance to take the win. The other match was Gatr vs Gatr. Awesome. Here we go! Finals vs Kyle[Kakkaroto7] w/ Gatr I was surprised by the outcome of this match. We high roll, I go first. I draw grass energy, RSA, he had 1 Totodile[In Play], 5 Water Energies, and 1 Professor Elm. I then used Pokemon Trader, Cleffa for Zubat. Attach energy and a Focus band and then I use Elm. Wow, I look at my hand, Oh my god..What else to get but a Darkness energy? I act like it's nothing and hopes he doesn't get a basic Pokemon. OMG.. I draw my card and attach Darkness energy, and before attacking, I said, "Oh my god..I'm going to Worlds!" I attacked for 30 damage, KOing the lone Totodile. 7-1 Winner. Wow, what a cheap win, I, too, agreed with some of the comments. But i think Muk put it best, A win is a win. Kak, you and I both know I didn't want to do that, and yet you got mad at me, I'd still like to be friends. Sorry man, but life goes on. It's just a game. We still got 1 year Kak, but unfortunately Croc, Random, Muk, etc, all are gone after Worlds. Good luck in the Professor Program[ROFL]. Good luck to all going to Worlds.
