Well, I had a lot of fun at this tournament, and chances are that everyone else
did too. The tournament was under Unlimited Format. I arrived at L. King
Collectibles at about 6:30 P.M. The tournament started at 7:00 P.M, so I had
plenty of time to look at all the cards they had. Man, I couldn't take my eyes
off that jumbo sized Expedition Feraligatr!

Round
1: VS Steve w/Typhlosion
This
battle was easy.
He got Typhlosion out early, but that didn't matter. By that time,
Typhlosion had 20 damage on it and I had Arcanine out so I used Take Down and
won the game.
1-0
Round
2: VS Ben w/ Haymaker-like deck
Oh
man, this was a HORRIBLE game for me. I got a Houndoom and an Ecogym out early,
but he simply removed the Ecogym with an Energy Stadium and played ER on my
Houndoom's Darkness Energy, then SER on the other two Fire Energies it had
attached to it. I did get Houndoom powered back up again, but by then, he had a
Sneasel built up, and it's Beat Up attack just eradicated all my Poke'mon.
1-1
Round
3: VS Mr. King ( The manager ) w/ a Stall Deck
This
was a GREAT game. I think both of us would agree. His main strategy was to use
Alakazam to transfer all of the damage I did to Chansey and then remove it with
Scoop Ups and Poke'mon Centers. Well, I was down to 2 Prizes when I noticed my
deck was getting low. But the next turn I drew...a Holo Ho-oh! I quickly
powered it up with the help of Stoke, and I saw that he had an Elekid and a
Tyrogue on the bench. I used Sacred Fire on Tyrogue first...Heads! 1 Prize
left! Then on Elekid...Heads! I win! What a game!
2-1
Round
4: VS Trenton w/ Clefable
Ugh.
This round was '=/' at best for me. He got a Clefable out really quickly, and
though I got
Ho-oh,
I needed 2 more Energy to do Dive Bomb, when he used Metronome to copy Dive
Bomb, and flipped...HEADS, taking down Ho-oh in one mighty blow! I didn't have
anything on the Bench at that time so I lost.
2-2
Didn't
get to play in the Final Round ( you have to have a record of 3-1 or better to
do that ) but it was still a lot of fun.
