I am going to top ten lists for BEST and WORST
pokemon. Plus top 5 for BEST and WORST trainers.
For the top 10 pokemon:
10) Promo Pikachu given at the LEAGUE. ((For the ones who
don't go here is its stats)).
Pikachu ,60HP, L,
1 Growl: If the Defending Pokemon attacks Pikachu during your
next turn, any damage done by the attack is reduced by 10.
2L Thundershock (20 Damage) Flip a coin. If heads, the
defending Pokemon is not paralyzed.
I like this card because it is a 60 HP Basic Pokemon. It
can lower damage by 10. Plus for 2L, you can do 20 damage and possible
Paralyze.
9) Mankey
It is a great bench warmer until you get Primeape. Peek
at all your prizes. WHO NEEDS THAT STINKIN' HERE COMES TEAM
ROCKET. 007, watch out! Mankey's on your tail. (Some
magazine said that) Sure it has 30 HP. Thats why its a bench
warmer.
8) Marowak
This card is good, if you know how to use it. Fury Swipes
can do 0-60 damage. Hopefully 30 or 60. Plus.. Call for friend is
a GREAT attack. Search your deck for a FIGHTING POKEMON. Not a
Cubone or Marowak like those other ones say.
7) Primeape
70 HP, CAN DO 40 Damage. If it has alot of damage.
Use Tantrum (use it anyway). You might be confused, but hey... stuff
happens.
6) Jynx
I like this card. It has amazing 70 HP for just an
unbasic common. Uhm I mean Uncommon Basic. It might be able to do
20 damage with just 1 energy. But then when you can get 2P and 1 on it.
BAM It's all over. It does 20 + 10 more damage for each damage counter.
Say charizard had only 50 damage on him. Your oppenet is like "OH
yeah I am unstoppable" you bring out Jynx. And Meditate it does 70
damage. BAM. Thats why I like this card.
5) Gyarados
Even though I haven't used one in a while, its a good card.
Sure it evolves from one of the worst pokemon, but it's pretty powerful.
100 HP and a resistance to fighting. Sure it has a weakness to grass..
but I can't stop that. Dragon Rage does 50 damage for only 3 water
energy. And if you facing a Charizard, I would do Bubblebeam. A
base of 40 damage, then 80 because of his weakness. It may paralyze.
So he can't attack during his next turn. Then do another Bubblebeam or
Dragon Rage and you beat him.
4) Basic Magmar
This is a very underrated card. I know you all will at
me, I like this card better than the fossil one. For just 2F you can do
a 30 damage attack without discarding. Then add 1 more energy for a 50
HP attack! The power is why I like this card so much.
3) Lickitung
I love this card. I call it S2K. Staller 2000. (No
Pun intended). 90 HP. Attack can do 10 damage and possible
paralyze. Second attack could confuse. No one has a resitance to
colorless. And like I said. GREAT STALLER. 'Nuff Said.
2) Butterfree
Woooo... Here we go. 70 HP. Healer
and "Modified" gust of wind in 1. If the oppenet can withstand
all 40 damage. Butterfree heals itself 20 HP. Great Mr. Mime killer.
I chose this card over Kabutops just because of the fact that it can do 20
damage and if the oppenet has say an Abra on their bench, let them bring
it out then MEGA DRAIN for the kill. Butterfree wins!
1) Gengar
Many people, but not all, would have to agree that Gengar is the
king. 80 HP. Attack that does a total of 40 Damage. 30 on
defending and 10 on bench. Then its power can move that 10 damage to
someone else. So say your against a colorless, with resistance to
psychic. Don't fret! Kill the bench warmers! Weee, or even
better.. Curse the foo' defending till it explodes. This card ranked
#1!!!!!!!
Time for the 10 WORST POKEMON.
10) Kabuto
It was a low one, almost didn't make it, but did. 30 HP,
and a 10 hp attack. Its Pokemon power is OKAY. But doesn't provent
all damage. The card it evolves to is good though.
9) Fossil Magneton
I hate this card. I hate it because it should be a common since I get
it in like every pack. Anyway. Its attack only does 20 and it
isn't even LIGHTNING ELEMENTAL. Its practically a colorless attack
since you can't apply weakness and resistance. 80 HP is kinda good and
Self Destruct is all right. But why kill yourself to kill someone
else? Useless
8) Pidgey
Ugh. 40 HP. Plus 2 colorless to do attack. Plus your
oppenet chooses which one it wants to switch. It only does 10 damage.
BLAH
7) Vulpix
Once I opened my first pack (back in Janurary. Yes it was first editon
and yes I got a Blastoise) of Pokemon cards and when I saw this card I said
"Oh God". Why a queer attack? For 2 fire energy..
for 10 damage.. for POSSIBLE confusion. The only good thing about this
card is 50 hp.
6) Bellsprout
Maybe its the HP? Maybe its the name? Maybe its the
pokemon that I always see in the game? Maybe its the way it looks? Maybe
it's the second attack? Maybe it's retreat cost? Whatever it is, I
hate this one.
5) Shellder
THIS CARD IS PRACTICALLY MYSTERIOUS FOSSIL'S BROTHER. 30 HP.
BIG WHOOP. Super Sonic.. whoopdee doo. Hide in shell. I
hate coin flipping.
4) Psyduck
PAGHZ! I hate this card. Just leave it at that.
Sure 50 hp and possible 30. OOHHH I just hate it. Don't ask me why.
Heh heh heh, time for the worst three, I think everyone
body knows them
3) Magikarp
#3. Yay. 30 Hp. Yay. 10 HP attack.
Yay. Possible 20 HP attack. BIg Whoop. This is a P.O.S.
card. Please stay on the bench till I get Gyarados!
2) Porygon
Well its time again.. Maybe its the HP? Maybe its the name?
Maybe its the look? Maybe its the attacks? Maybe its colorless? Who
knows. It can't attack, and it costs to retreat! WEAK.
1) Basic Gastly
Lord, this is the worst card. Wow a 25% chance of
sleeping. Then dEstiny Bond? I Mean WHAT THE HECK? Your
oppenet doesn't even have to attack YOU! Its optional. A P.O.S. card
Time for Trainers
5) Full Heal
This is a good card. Your confused? No MORE!
Poisoned? NO MORE! Paralzyed? NO MORE! EVen Asleep!
4) Scoop Up
This is a nice card also. Your pokemon has 10 hp till
death? NO FEAR. Scoop it up! Works great with
Farfetch'd. Use that Leek Slap again!
3) Gust of Wind and Switch
The best of the best. High Retreat? Switch it!
Is your oppenet "bugging" you? Bring out that caterpie and
smash it!
2) Bill And Prof. Oak
Bill, draw 2. Oak. discard those crap cards for
a new hand.
1) Energy Removal and SER
Man, discarding oppenets energy is great.
Time for the worst
5) Imposter Professor Oak
This card would be wicked if they would have to DISCARD
their hand.
4) Clefairy Doll
Whats the point of a trainer pretending to act like a weak
pokemon? Maybe just 1 attack. SPit HOCK
3) Revive
This is useless, your oppenet doesn't have to place the
prize back down, plus you have half HP Remaining. BOO
2) Item Finder
Discard 2 cards to get a TRAINER? I am being
robbed...
1) Devolution Spray
Go read my Devo Spray on the Devo Spray card strategy.
It is good, but very rare happening. But would you sacrifice a
devoultion just to heal poison, confusion, paralysis, or drowsiness?
I wouldn't!
That took me about 1 hour to type and think of all the
cards. Thanks for reading!
OH YES, Please send me your HATE mail. I love
replying.
