Here are the top cards from each energy type~

Colorless

3. Pidgeot
An almighty attack known as Hurricane can send a full powered pokémon such as
Charizard or Articuno back to your opponent's hand, along with all of it's
energy.
2. Dragonite
It makes all retreat costs free, and it can do 80 damage if you're lucky.
1. Clefable
Wanna do 100 damage with 1 energy? Clefable rocks, any attack, just for 1
measly energy or any kind. Now that's awesome!

Water

3. Vaporeon
It's okay, but it fits into almost any deck, and goes great with Eevee's
evolutions.
2. Gyarados
100 HP, 50 damage, and a 40 damage attack with a 50% chance or paralysis,
very good.
1. Ummmm... DUH!! Blastoise...
Raindance rules, Blastoise is a must have for any water deck! Great
attacks... simply wonderful...

Grass

3. Vileplume
It can Heal itself... it can do 120 damage, unfortunately, it's now confused,
sorry.
2. Venusaur
I really like Energy Trans, it helps me quite a bit, and the 60 damage attack
is good.
1. Muk
A great card for an evolution deck. With an Aerodactyl running around, ya
gotta disable that power. And it can poison.

Fire

3. Arcanine
100 HP and a 50 damage attack. What more is asked? The fact that it does 30
damage to itself put it behind the big guy, Charizard.
2. Charizard
Yes, and you were expecting it to be 1st? Ha! The Power is good, but it can't
beat the #1 pokémon of fire. If you look at the big picture, it can only do
100 damage in 2 turns...
1. Ninetales
Surprised? You shouldn't be. The firey fox can dish out 160 damage in 2
turns... that's why I have 4 in my fire deck... you can't argue now! :P

Electric

3. Electrode (base)
Low on energy? Need a boost? Turn Electrode into 2 of any type of energy for
the big guys who need 4 energy for an attack.
2. Raichu (base)
I love da card!!! If you actually have the card, look at it's attacks... go
ahead. See why it's #2? Thought so.
1. Zapdos (base)
After argueing, I've decided Zapdos is better than Raichu, Zapdos and
Electrode go great together, and it does 100 damage... of course, you must
beware of Clefables, ya know...

Fighting

Let's give some recognition to Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Sandslash, they
were great, too!

3. Primeape
70 HP ain't bad. Also 50 damage attack, and not all fighting energys are
needed. It's great.
2. Marowak
60 HP, possible 60 damage (beware of the Clefables!!!), and call for friend.
Ever had a Graveler and Golem or a Machoke and Machamp, but you can't find
the basic pokemon? Your problems are solved.
1. Machamp
Power!! Pure stealth! Everyone who is anyone has one... The pokemon power!!
You can attack back for 10 more HP every turn! Fantastic!

Psychic

3. Mewtwo
Ok, you say it sucks, I say just give it a little time to build up on your
bench, great for a stall deck.
2. Haunter (Fossil)
Transparency!!! Poor Zapdos... you discarded all your energy and now you
can't attack because you're unlucky on the coin flips! ! Too bad! Also, put
it to sleep, your opponent has to flip twice.
1. Gengar
If you're a bench attacker, this is a great card to have. If your opponent
likes to retreat a pokemon when it only has 10 HP left, Dark Mind will take
care of it. Also, Curse is good to have.

Most pokemon did great, and you might agree with me on the lists, and you
might not. I had to look over all the cards before I made my decisions, and
maybe you'll listen to me for once~
