hey! I haven't written any single card tips
lately, in fact i have found them quite boring to write lately, but now that
all these new rocket cards are out it's my pleasure to type these articles!
I'd like to talk about two cards that you can fit into your rain dance or
venusaur decks- promo venusaur and dark blastoise.
Name- Venusaur
Type- Grass
HP-100
retreat - 2(?)
weakness - fire
resistance - none
PKMN Power- once during your turn heal both active
pokemon in play of status changes. this may not be used if venusaur is
asleep, confused or paralized.
(GGGG) Mega Drain - (40) heal yourself by half the
damage inflicted( round up )
This is a pretty sweet card. its attack is
pretty nice and its power is good, and even though it also heals your
opponents pokemon of status changes, it isnt often both of the active pokemon
are affected by status changes ( besides, not many poké's in energy trans
change status ). This guy sucks if he is not being used in an energy
trans because he isnt worth the evolve without basic venusaur. have only
one of these in your energy trans deck(that's enough).
name-Dark Blastoise
HP-70 (that sux)
Type-Water
weakness-E
retreat-2
resistance-none
(WW) HydroCannon - (30+) Does 30+20 for each extra
W energy on this card (can'e do any more than 70 damage in this way)
(W2) Rocket Tackle - (40) Does 10 damage to
itself. flip a coin. if heads, prevent all damage done to dark
blastoise during your opponent's next turn(other effects still happen.)
This card is overlooked. Rocket tackle is
iffy but Hydro Cannon kicks major #$#@!$!#$. normal Blastoise does 60
for 5 W, but he does 70 for 4 and this is a big increase. normal
blastoise needs a pluspower to kill most haymaker pokemon in one hit and this
guy doesnt need that pluspower. it has no raindance and 70hp sucks but
he is still good., my brother put one in his dance and he was kicking
the $#1+ out of the hitmos and scythers in my wigglytuff deck. have only
one in a raindance deck. anywhere else besides a raindance deck he
really sucks a lot.
Later everyone!
