OK. I'm here to talk about... ...The Nidoran family! Nidoran (M) 40 HP G Horn Hazard. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Ooops. Efficient, yes-but I'd rather use Moltres' Dive Bomb move to get big damage cheap. Really, you should not bench Nidoran unless: 1.) You'll lose by lack of basics. 2.) You have either a Nidorino or Pokemon Breeder in your hand. Nidorino is good, yes. No points go to Nidoran M except evolution. Just like the Base Ghosts. They stink until you evolve them to Gengar. (Note: Base Haunter + Fossil Haunter or the Team Rocket Sleep, Sleep!, trainer can be useful.) Nidorino 60 HP. -Its ok for Stage 1, but not perfectly strong. GCC Double Kick. (30X) Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads. -Hmm. I don't know...1 point GGCC Horn Drill (50) -Does guarenteed damage. Its OK, but a bit expensive. IMO, Pinsir is better. 1 point. Nidoking 90 HP -Again, OK for its Evolution stage, but... GCC Thrash (30+) Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage. If tails, this attack does 30 damage plus Nidoking does 10 damage to itself. -Hmm. What I can't get through my head is why Electabuzz does that too for 1 less colorless energy? But, there are no [American] resistances to Grass-yet. 2 Points. GGG Toxic (20) The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. It now takes 20 Poison damage instead of 10 each turn (even if it was already Poisoned. -What does 'even if it was already Poisoned' mean? Still, for the same Energy cost as Ivysaur's Poisonpowder you deal the same base damage and twice as much Poison damage! 3 Points. 1.5 Final Rating (Note: after all the averaging, etc., that's HIGH.
