OK, I'm back, and as usual, I wanna do some talkin. Today, I wanna know why
mono-fire decks aren't very popular anymore! I mean, there are A LOT of good
pokemon that are fire that can be used in a VERY good (If well strategized)
deck.
I mean, let's look at one of the most elite pokemon that's
fire,
NINETAILS. 80 HP, 2 attacks, built in GOW, an attack that does 80 for 4 fire
energy and you only have to discard one, yes, ONE energy to use it! One
retreat cost, and weakness to water. No resistance.
Here's another one. Arcanine. 100 HP, pretty decent basic, a
chance for
50 or 80 damage on the 3rd turn. Only one problem: it does 30 to itself. 3
retreat cost, weakness to water, and you have to discard one fire energy for
50 damage.
Also, why do people try to make Charizard out to be the
greatest pokemon
in the game? Just because its worth $40?? If you're concerned about the
value, just keep collecting! A Clefable or Clefairy could take out the mighty
Charizard! Jeez!
I mean you have to have 4 energies for it? That only sounds
good if
you're using DCE's or playing it in a raindance! Jeez! Also, THREE retreat
cost??? I think it should have less because it is kind of a flying type. The
only really good things about it is that is can use any type of energy, it
has resistance to fighting, 120 HP, and can deal 100 damage.
But, I still think Ninetails is far more superior to
Charizard in my
opinion. All in all, lemme give you my top five rating of Fire pokemon.
5. Charizard
4. Arcanine
3. Moltres
2. Fossil Magmar
1. Ninetails
Well, that's enough of that. Until next time, citizens!
