I am a pokemon rookie, as I have only been playing for about a month
or so, (against the same guy all the time) but I think I have a good
idea going! I'm sure I'm not the first to exploit this great attack, but
I don't see it posted as a single card strategy anywhere, so I'll do my
best to explain!
   This attack can work with or without a Venasaur, but a lot better
with Venasaur! just use a lot of exeggute/ors and big explosion folks to
death! With my one and only Venasaur, combined with just one exeggutor,
I was able a few of times (we play about ten games a week) to get
exeggutor out in battle with 8-14 energies attached doing at LEAST 100
damage per turn!

look at Exeggutor!
80hp's
(1) psychic="Teleport-Switch Exeggutor with 1 of your benched pokemon."
(no retreat cost essentially!)
(1)colorless="Big Eggsplosion!- Flip a number of coins equal to the
number of energy attached to Exeggutor. This attack does 20 damage times
the number of heads."
(limited by only the number of energy you can gather up!)

of course Exeggutor has to evolve, but Exeggcute is sweet too! 50 hp's,
for 1 p energy=sleep,
2 g energies =20 damage +10 heal!

Please let me know if this is illegal or something! It works too good to
be true!
