Yes, many people claim that venusaur is the best grass card, or muk, or even
my own beloved nidoking.....but the one poke that comes through time after
time is....Venomoth!  It has 70 hp., decent for an evolution.  It has NO
RETREAT COST, and it has one of the most useful powers in the game;
Venomoth's pokemon power of Shift allows you to change your type before you
attack, making every hit count double.  His one attack, venom powder, does 10
damage (20 if you remember to use shift first) while Confusing and Paralyzing
the opponent.  In the right mono grass, this card cant be beat! Here is my
prime deck that i use venomoth with (please note i dont buy cards-  just
boosters and hope i get lucky):  4 bulbasaur, 3 ivysaur, 1 venusaur, 3
venonat, 2 venomoth, 3 nidoran m, 2 nidorino 1 nidoking, 2 grimer, 1 muk, and
2 pinsir.  Plus energy and trainers and blah blah blah......it works great,
and i was finally able to beat the electric gym leader at wizards!  So next
time you throw away that venomoth, think twice about the startling stage 1.
