Recently, I have posted an article on how to rate
and compare cards, and how not to compare cards.
It stated the best way to decide which card is
  better than the other.

However, i still see people post this trash, for
  Card Comparisons.
These comparisons, in my opinion, are very
  unprofessional and are bogus.

For instance, look at this poor comparison of
  Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee.
  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Hitmonchan
  Hitmonlee
  HP: 70
  60

Hitmonchan scores with a 10 HP difference. (1/0)

  attacks:
  jab-20,1F energy
  strechkick-20 to a benched pokemon,2F energies

Hitmonchan has a better first attack. (2/0)

  specialpunch-40,2F&     highjumpkick-50,3F energies
  1Colorless energy

Hitmonlee has a better second attack (2/1)

  retreat cost:

  2 energies
  1 energy
Hitmonlee scores because of a 1 less energy retreat cost, whitch is needed
  in a close match. (2/2)

But, Hitmonchan won by one point
  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a very unprofessional comparison.
  Here is why....

It seems logical that if Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee
both have two advantages each in 4 different aspects, they are equal.

However, they are far from equal.

First off, Hitmonchan's jab is WAY better than
Stretch kick. It requires 1 energy, which makes Hitmonchan, virtually immune
to energy removals. It can stall and jab the opponent with it's one energy,
  while you build the bench.
Hitmonchan's advantage is huge, yet he scores one
  point on this comparison.
Hitmonlee scored 1 point for having a better
  retreat cost.
  Hitmonchan's attacking advantage exceeds
Hitmonlees retreat advantage BIG TIME, but it gives them the same amount of
  points.

  See what I mean?

Read my article, on February 1. It should be at
the bottom of the Single Card Page.
