As my deck evolves more and more into a Psychic Deck Out I notice a few
things that help me compete against the speed of Haymaker.

When I know I'm versing a Haymaker instead of sacrificing a Chansey while
trying to set up a wall I start off with Gastly. Asides from having a
resistance to fighting his evoluton, Haunter, has a 50% chance of avoiding
ALL damage and effects. They've saved me more than a few times with their
resistance and with Haunter's Pokémon power. (Note: Haunter single handedly
shut down the Gym Leader's stall deck that had the added twist of using
Hitmonchans to attack while Damage Swapping.) And even if you use a
different startegy they will fit nicely as they have fairly cost efficient
attacks that cause some nice status problems early on. And the Stage 2
evolution's power, Curse, is a wonderful bench killer and his Dark Mind adds
to that. Include 4 of each and watch youur opponents curse you in all sorts
of tongues as you time after time avoid their attacks. Send hate to
