Argh!!!

I'm sick of those ignoramouses that use the point system of:

 

HP

Gyarados - 100

Blastoise - 100

 Tie

 

ARGHHH!!!

That doesn't prove much......they CAN build on this......but that point system can only go so far.  First, they need to add more categories, such as:

 

The amount of Colorless Energy needed in Moves
Lower Evolution Stages

Pokemon Power

Versatility of Pokemon Power

Quality of the Move ( Not just the Damage )

Popularity of Weakness

DCE Versatility ( Small category, Important though )

Rarity

Card Combos

 

Remember, this is only an expirimental rating system thought of right off the bat. 

Now, Using these Principals, lets rate two cards, such as, Dewgong and Gyarados.

*I'm not bothering to WRITE the stats since you all have already seen too many of this comparison

 

HP - Gyarados - Gyarados up by 1

Attacks - Gyarados - Gyarados up by 2 ( stronger bubblebeam )

Retreat Cost - Dewgong - Gyarados up by 1

DCE Versatility - Dewgong is able, Gyarados not - Tie now

Amount of Colorless In moves - Dewgong up by 1

Lower Evolutions - Dewgong - Dewgong up by 2

Rarity - Dewgong - Dewgong up by 3

Pokemon Power - None

Weakness - Gyarados ( Can't be KO'ed in a hit by his weakness...Scyther, while Dewgong can be KO'ed in a hit by 'buzz ) - Dewgong up by 2

Resistance - Gyarados - Dewgong up by 1

Card Combos - Gyara - 'toise, but Dewgong can do it too....and Dewgong can do fine by itself, but Gyarados is more deadly charged....tie - Dewgong up by 1

 

Well, Well, seems Dewgong IS better, but then again, Gyarados is weak because of his energy sucking quality, but Dewgong has a slightly weaker attack, so they are both good in their own ways, but by themselves, its Dewgong.
