Oh, and the [AP] I'm going to put in the subject lines of some
of my future articles will mean its going to be in the "Atlus
Parker" style of writing. ( With < > actions, and a third
person view )
<Takes the blue pill, ( I think ) and emerges in the
"real world">
Sleepy Dragon: Wow, in the real world, people STILL think
Charizard is good....
<Conjures up a card box, and a 1st Edition Charizard
floats out of it>
SD: Wow, I knew I had something of worth........ I-*
<SD is suddenly interrupted by 2 more cards floating out of
the box>
SD: Well well well, here's something most people don't look at,
the Charmander and Charmeleon. Simply put, Charizard is not a bad card.
No card made by WotC is truly bad, they simply think on a
higher level, or one whos logic is unknown.... They make EVERY card with a
use. Now, Charizard doesn't HAVE to be the MAIN fighter, as in some
decks, they have ONE card to be the cleaner, or the one pokemon that will
usually take the last 1-2 Prizes. Now, Charizard is this kind of card.
He is a cleaner. Simply put, not good for anything else.
<Charmander growls, and a Pokemon Breeder comes out and
evolves it to a Charizard. Charizard roars, and spits 15+ fireballs at
SD>
SD: Calm down, I'm a dragon too....
<Transforms into a basic mewtwo and does a Barrier
attack>
SD: Hahaha....now even more punishment.....
<Throws a Devolution Spray at the Charizard>
SD: There. Now, the proper
usage of Charizard, should be in pure fire, regardless of his Poké Power,
unless you're as brave as Scott Gerdhardt, running 3 colors....LOL
If you feel that courageous, use him in a 2 color deck, with a
Fire Dominant side, and DEFINITELY not a 3 color deck....But you should do
this in most situations.
Charmeleon is an EXCELLENT fighter. In
fact, the whole Char family is made up into little divisions. Charmander
is strictly for Early game, while Charmeleon, can actually fight throughout
the whole game. Charizard is strictly late game, as a last 2 prize
cleaner. ( energy burn a DCE ) See, you can hold them off with
Charmeleon, until you have three prizes, add a 4th energy, ( you should have 3
already due to slash and flamethrower energy costs ) and Fire Spin, then add a
DCE and energy burn, then Fire Spin for the 6 Prize win.
<Whips Charizard, tames him, and flies into the distance on
the lizard's back>

I'm proud of my signature =)
* In my opinion, Charizard is pretty much
worthless besides the usage I wrote.
