Okay then. On with the top ten. Pokémon only for now.
10. Lickitung: 90 HP, good attcks; nice for stalling.
9. Beedrill: Free retreat, 80 HP, and two very good
attacks make this buzzer tough to beat.
8. Poliwrath: Two very powerful attacks and high HP.
7. Dewgong: 80 Hp and two very, very strong attacks.
Works well in Rain Dance.
6. Venomoth: Shift is a very good power, and Venom
Powder can be lethal status-effect-wise.
5. Clefable: Metronome rules! It only costs a lone
Colorless energy to perform awesome moves like Solarbeam, Sludge, Fire Blast,
Hydro Pump, Whirlpool, etc. Minimize is okay, and 70 HP's very good.
4. Blastoise: Rain Dance is one of the better powers
in the game. Hydro Pump's VERY strong, and Blasty's got a full 100 HP.
3. Ninetales: Undisputably the best fire card. It
only needs one energy discarded for the awesome Fire Blast. Lure is all right.
2. Muk: He completely changes the gamev once he comes
out. His Pokémon Power, Toxic Gas, is awesome-it shuts down, Curse decks, Rain
Dances, Damage Swappers, and other decks that rely heavily on PokéPowers.
Combine that with 70 HP and a hard-hitting Sludge attack, and you have an
awesome Pokémon.
1. Scyther: The most versatile Pokémon in the game.
He can do 60 damage on turn 2-Nice! He has zero retreat, a fighting resistance,
and 70 HP. Can be in any deck. He just rocks!
Honorable Mention: Gengar, Mr. Mime, Alakazam, Pinsir, Chansey, Wigglytuff, Kangaskhan, Fearow, Arbok, both Haunter, both Magmar, Golbat, many others
