Hi
I am replying to V-man's article on unused pokemon but i am afraid i
disagree with him on some of the points he made...
First of all:
Persian: Now this is a card you dont want me to get started with.
It's
one of my personal favorites and I just want to let everyone know his
good sides.
Pounce is an excelent attack move. It does 30 damage and reduces your
opponents next attack by 10. With 30 Psy resistance that mean that
after a good pounce from Persian your Psychic opponents will be able to
do NOTHING to Persian. Unless you have lots of damage and they have a
jynx up, or something, the only thing i can think that it psychic that
would even touch persian would be... Gengars curse and atttacking it
with a kadabra for 20 a turn, but how often is that going to happen? So
if they are running mono Psychic, you can't get much better than
Persian. ^_^
Meowth is it's only main weakness other than fighting but free retreat
helps it out alot. Free retreat is one of it's strongest points....
Now then.... Who else...
Weezing:
Now this card isn't the best in the world but there is a small use for
him. If you run a poison type of deck with say, Venomoth, Koffing, and
some other good ones, Not much damage usually right? Well right about
when koffing is gonna crack, it's fun to evolve, add 1 energy, any
color, and then BOOM. Some damage which will probably kill whoever is
opposite you if you had had koffing up several turns. That is the only
real good thing i could think of... In a heavy status deck with low
base damage...
Oh and I haven't tested them yet but the Sandslash line has some
potential IMHO...
It can attack for colorless, and for some reason everyone says fury
swipes is so bad. It seems to me like a less energy intensive version
of Kanga's Comet punch. Except for 3 coins... I have still yet to
use
this pokemon yet but i plan on trying it in a free retreat deck with
Dodrio and Magmars and stuff =)
Well that's all alot of opinion. A lot of good point in my opinion
though ^_^
