It took a while for the real power of Prof Oak to be seen by most players
... I mean, who initially thinks that getting rid of all their cards is a
GOOD idea?

Well, that change of thinking is what I think will happen with Fuji.
Already, players are seeing some of its uses.  It is this OVERWHELMING
flexibility of this card which really makes it powerful (almost even
broken).  Stick with me to the end and you will see where the broken thing
comes in, I think you'll be amazed at the strategy.

First let's look at what all this card can do:

1)  Heal - or more accurately evaporate damage.
When your Pokemon is sitting on the bench licking his wounds and stubbing
his toe will knock him out, I think it safe to say that he is useless.  With
Fuji, you can recycle the Pokemon, his evolutions and energy.  They can all
go back into the draw cycle.
2)  Anti-bench
Ack! I'm gonna deck myself!  When it comes to that, pick some heavily carded
bencher (preferably one in the situation above - just clinging to life with
a feeder tube) and drop him into the pile.
3)  Bench Clearing
When the bench is full, it really sucks to draw a good pokemon that has no
where to sit.  Fuji gives you the ability to make a hole to stick him.
4)  Prof Oak helper
Gotta Oak ... you have no choice, but you have some good cards you just
don't want to discard.  If you can find a way to put them on the bencher,
they get to ride the lightening back into the draw pile.  For example, your
defender you aren't ready to use ... or that breeder that you don't have a
stage 2 to put on top yet.
5)  Energy Recycle
Running low on energy, and its all stuck on some useless bencher?  Drop 'em
into the pile with Fuji.

Which leads to my BROKEN statement:  (Brian, hope you like this one)
6)  Energy creation
A number of cards provide this ability energy conversion but I found it out
with L17 Gastly (which I expect will now solidify its use with Fuji).
Keep making energy with Gastly as long as you can (getting knocked out
really throws a wrench in this tactic). Bench him and Fuji him to put a well
of energy back into your deck.
Combine it with a Alakazam damage swap and Gastly can sit out there for a
while if you have the energy in the discard pile, making more energy than
you started with.
This allows Alakazam/Gastly/Fuji decks to go weaker on energy knowing that
they can manufacture it later.

So as you can see, Fuji is a multi-purpose card, with a sneaky side.  In
addition all the reasons I have already mentioned, it should be noted that
it also works well with draw advantage decks by allowing you to put back
some of the cards you drew in the Kangis/Bill/Oak draw rush.
