Hey Pojonians,
I'm seeing some of the top 10 lists and thought that I might contribute.
POKEMON
10. Ekans- Yes the little snake Jesse got for her birthday is on here
because of a few things. 40 HP is average for a common basic, 50/50 Poison
for G, and the best part is 20 and 50/50 paralysis for 1G. One of the best
common basics in the game. (next to Machop, Charmander, and Jungle Pikachu)
9. Gengar- This card's PP and attack go almost perfectly together. Plus the
Fossil underlings of it aren't that bad either. This card would be super,
duper, bigger-than-a-Snorlax broken if it let you move as many counters as
you liked.
8. Hitmonchan- Surprised to see him at #8 aren't you? The reason he's there
is because of Fossil. Fossil has more fighting resistant pokemon than the
amount of times Regis has asked, "Is that your final answer?" Just let
me
name a few: Dragonite, Legendary Birds, the Gengar family,...
7. Muk- With Fossil in full fledge this guy is hittin' the tourney scene
like a Machamp versus Jigglypuff w/o a voice box. (Live-Action) This card is
changing the whole metagame before your eyes. This guy stops Blastoise, Mr.
Mime, Alakazam, etc.
6. Magmar(Fossil)- This guy gives fire a brand new thing, poison. Until
Rocket (See Evil Persian under the spoiler) hits the U.S. this guy is the
only non-grass pokemon with that very cool effect.
5. Nidoking- One of the most underrated cards in Pokemon. His toxic attack
is agruebly the best status effect in the game. And won't come back until
Gym 2.
4. Scyther- I, as most people, can't see why others are still comparing him
to Farfetch'd. I mean he's better in almost every aspect. (except for the
weakness because fire is a lot more common than electric) But anyway, this
guy is still one of the best in the game.
3. Articuno- This guy and his buddy Lapras give Raindance a whole new side,
the basics. Up until now water has not had many good basics until now. Not
only that but with no weakness, fighting resistance*, and low retreat
cost(0, I think) almost make this guy the best but he's still pretty slow
without Raindance.
2. Electabuzz- This guy IS the fastest pokemon in the game right now. (cost
vs. effect) Some guys look faster then him but accept no imitations. Close
contender for numero uno. But the king of the game is...

1. !Kangaskhan!- The ability to draw cards is one of if not the most
important aspect of Pokemon. Combine that with a super-powerful attack and
high HP and you've got a great Pokemon.
There you have my Top 10 list.
