I just want to start by saying that Pojo is the
best, and please post
this. My article is about the heavily underrated Beedrill line. I know
that
most of you think that these guys suck, and would rather use Venasaur or
Vileplume, but lets take a closer look at these cards. Weedle is a basic
pokemon with 40 HP, about average for basics. On the plus side he is a
common, and is easy to come by (like the rest of the cards in the line). His
attack, for one grass energy, does 10 damage with a 50% chance of poisoning.
Now you may not have noticed, but this is just like Quick Attack (10+ an
extra 20 if heads), only better. First off, it only uses one energy, but the
best part is that once you do get heads, you can keep up that 30/turn till
they die. The only problem is with them retreating, but if they want to send
out another victim, let them :). Kakuna is works on the same principle. 20+
an extra 20 if you flip heads. Thats pretty good for 2 energy. Kakuna also
has above average HP (80). The best card out of the three is, without doubt,
Beedrill. Keeping the average (for a stage 2) 80 HP from Kakuna, for a mere 3
grass energy it can do a potential 60 damage! Even if you flip tails, 40
damage isn't bad. Beedrill also has a free retreat cost, another factor to
make it a great card. There are even more reasons to choose the Beedrill
line. First off all three have an excellent evolution-energy increase. You
may be thinking "WHAT?", but what I mean is that you never need to
power up,
and risk losing energy (hint, hint, magikarp). Just evolve, plop down an
energy, and poof, you can do the best attack of the pokemon. These pokemon
are also fast, their low energy requirements helping them. After I have
described all these reasons for using the Beedrill line, I hope you use them
in your decks, as I do. Send me any hate mail or comments ;).
