Welcome to another fabulous strategy article by me, Skorne.
This time, I'll be discussing how you can use Fossil Hypno to help Giovanni's
Meowth's "Apparent Help" attack more effectively. First,
let's look at the translations of Fossil Hypno and Giovanni's Meowth, courtesy
of Bret Larwick and Edo.
Giovanni's Meowth
Type: Basic Colorless Pokemon
LV.12 HP 40
C: Apparent Help
Effect: Flip a coin. If heads, look at the top card of your
opponent's deck. If it is a Trainer card, discard it.
Otherwise, return that card to the top of your opponent's
deck.
CC: Doubleswipe: 20x
Effect: Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the
number of heads.
-C Retreat
F Weakness
P Resistance (Damage -30)
Name: Hypno
Type: Stage 1 -- from Drowzee
Card #: card 8 of 62
Rarity: Rare - Holo
Color: Psychic
HP: 90 HP
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2
Pokemon #: 97
Species: Hypnosis
Level: 36
Attack: [P] Prophecy
Look
at up to 3 cards from the top of either player's deck and
rearrange them as you like.
Attack: [PPP] Dark Mind (30)
If
your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, choose 1 of them and this
attack does 10 damage to it. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance
for
Benched Pokemon.)
Using Fossil Hypno's Prophecy attack, you can make sure that when you use
Giovanni's Meowth's "Apparent Help" attack that you'll be
discarding an important trainer card from the top of their deck.
This is a very effective way to deal with trainer-intensive decks; you ought
to try it some time.
Until Next Time,

sending "You suck, dude" e-mails. Thanks, and have a nice
