Wazzap Pojo and all its readers. Today I shall be reviewing Guren Town Gym a
god send to fire trainers (not those that are going to stay away from
Blaine's Pokemon).
First here is its translation (translation courtesy of Edo):

        Guren Town Gym
            Type: Trainer (Stadium Card)
            Effect: Each player's Blaine Pokemon ignores their own Water
weakness.
                      (This card stays in play for the entire game. When
another Stadium
                      is played, this card is discarded)
            No Number (Uncommon)


This card is great for all those people whose favorite type are fire, but
can't make a deck because of that pesky Raindance. With this card Fire won't
be as weak as they will take normal damage from water pokemon. There are only
two downsides is that it as to be Blaine's Pokemon, but hey I would rather
get Blaine's Pokemon than be Raindance fodder. The second is isn't really a
downside only when you are three way battling, the situation is: One player
has a water, the other two have fire specifically a Blaine deck. You pop out
Guren town Gym and you just saved your opponent and yourself from water
fodder, this is a minor setback and won't really affect the game.. This card
is a really good step for fire pokemon, as they probably see a little bit
more play because they have a way to combat resistance. Its not up there with
Sabrina's ESP and all those excellent trainers but its pretty good
