King Cobra- Man, I just rented the Matrix, and it was a blast. I need to get
that computer that teaches you stuff instantly, it would help with my
homework. Well, Arbok saw it too, and now he thinks he's trapped in a Matrix
that he needs to escape from, so he won't be helping me right this article
today. Now, let me remove my sunglasses (the really dark kind like Neo's) and
we'll get this article started. I decided to write about Poliwhirl, because
he isn't hard to explain, and I don't feel up to writing a full article today
(I wanna watch the Matrix again).
Poliwhirl
Type- Water
HP- 60 (for a stage 1? Yuck)
Weakness- Grass (watch out for Scyther)
Resistance- None
Retreat Cost- 1
Attack: Amnesia for 2 Water Energies
Choose 1 of the defending Pokemon's attacks. That Pokemon can't use that
attack during your opponent's next turn.
What I think
King Cobra- This isn't a totally reliable attack, because benching the
defending Pokemon stops the effect, but if they have a large retreat cost,
they'll waste some energy. Most of the time, people will just not bother, so
it's a decent stall attack, but only for guys who have 1 attack.
Attack: Doubleslap for 2 water and 1 colorless energies
Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads.
What I think
King Cobra- This attack relies on the number one thing I can't stand: Coin
Flips! I hate attack that rely completely on luck to work!
Overall
King Cobra- Well, this guy doesn't have anything going for him. He's only
good for evolution to Poliwrath. He's also kind of cute. Reminds me of the
Vulpix card: Can't attack, good only for evolution and looking at.
The word of the day is Matrix, because I can't stop blabbering about that
movie!
