Hey Pokefans! Pokemoe Joe here. I was just browsing the single card tips,
and came across a Pidgeot tip. It was by a person
called Erin, and he said that Pidgeot was pretty dang good in contradiction
to the expert advice of Pojo.
Name: Pidgeot
Type: Stage 2 -- from Pidgeotto
Card #: card 8 of 64
Rarity: Rare - Holo
Color: Colorless
HP: 80 HP
Weakness: L
Resistance: F -30
Retreat: 0
Pokemon #: 18
Species: Bird
Level: 40
Attack: [2] Wing Attack (20)
Attack: [3] Hurricane (30)
Unless
this attack Knocks Out the Defending Pokemon,
return
the Defending Pokemon and all cards attached to it
to your
opponent's hand.
This spoiler was taken from Edo's spoiler of the Jungle set. Well, what's
so great about it anyway? The retreat of 0 is always
a plus, and a resistance to fighting is also good. That's it. Notice I
haven't said anything about the attacks, which
really count. And now the analasys of those attacks.
[2 for 20 damage} Does 20 damage, not good for a Stage 2.
[3 for 30 damage. If the Defenders not KOed, return it and all cards
attached to the hand.] EEEK! 30 damage only could knock
out a few Pokemon. Any others go back to the hand and get completely
healed. I reiterate, EEEK! That could make it pretty
impossible to get regular KOs. But what are you going to do then? Wing
Attack for just 20? If you settle for that, you'll get
KOed eventually. You could retreat for free, but then that just wastes
space on the bench.
That's all for now!
Pokemoe Joe
