Pojo,
Please post this. This article is about good commons. Most
people who play Pokèmon only care about the rares. Well, there are
several good common cards out there.
PART ONE: Good common Pokèmon
Onix- High HP, great staller, Harden is an OK attack
Geodude- Many people think he sucks, but he can do a lot of damage with
lucky coin flips
Staryu- One water energy Slap tears through fire Pokèmon (well, most of
them)
Omanyte- Pokèmon Power: Clairvoyance(which makes your opponent play with
his or her hand face up) and an Imposter Prof. Oak can really mess things
up for your opponent
Shellder- OOPS! How'd that get in here?
Slowpoke- Even though he has no damaging attacks, Scavenge is an
automatic Itemfinder with discarding only one energy
Paras- Scratch is OK, but Spore automatically puts your opponent's
Pokèmon to sleep
Tangela- Poisonpowder poisons the Defending Pokèmon,
Jungle Pikachu- Fine HP, Spark is hits one of your opponent's Benched
Pokèmon
Rattata- One energy does twenty damage, resistance to Psychic
And now: the second place commons:
Jigglypuff- One energy Sleep
AND THE GREATEST COMMON IS:
Base Gastly- Just joking
Koffing- For two grass energies: Foul Gas, does 10 damage
Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokèmon is now Poisoned; if
tails, it is now Confused.
Part Two: Good Common Trainers will come later. Those are only a few of
the good commons made. Remember, this is just my opinion.
Sincerly,
Star Mario
