I have found that if you want to add more depth to a deck then you
should add a couple colorless guys, and I have found Tauros to be the
best at adding depth to a deck for many different reasons, here is
Tauros.

Tauros: Basic Pokemon
Hit points: 60
Retreat: 2
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Attack 1:
CC Stomp 20+
Flip a coin, if heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage,
if tails this attack does 20 damage.
Attack 2:
CCC Rampage 20+
This attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter
on Tauros. Flip a coin, If tails Tauros is now confused.

As you can probably see Tauros is a versatile Pokemon that can be
used in almost any situation.  In fact, the more damage Tauros takes,
the better his rampage attack works.  If Tauros had 10 damage on him it
would do 30, 20 damage for 40 and so on.  By the time he has 50 damage
on him he does 70 damage with rampage.  However, the possibility of
confusion is a small problem so I would suggest using stomp unless you
can take out a guy with rampage.  some combinations that work well with
Tauros are using Alakazam's Damage Swap to move counters to Tauros and
Rampage for mass damage or maybe, using venusaur to transfer energy to
Tauros for the attack, while not worrying about having him taken out
before he is built up.  Also If you happen to get a double colorless
Tauros can be a very effective haymaker.  Another general hint, If you
get a guy with no retreat in your hand send it out first to see what the
opponent uses, this can save problems like Hitmonchan against Gastly and
you can just retreat the guy for free and send out who you do want.  One
more thing, if anyone has a translation for Blaine's Tauros, could you
send it to me?

Thanks for reading!
