Okay, guys. This is why praising cards that have barely been translated is a
BAD idea. Sorry Wolf, but Professor Ugisagi..Ugiseg..Uga...WHATEVER HIS NAME
IS!!!...sounds too broken to be the actual translation of the card. I
believe the card really reads: "Suffle your hand into your deck then draw 7
cards. Until the end of your opponent's next turn, you cannot use trainer
cards." See? That makes a lot more sense. YOU cannot use trainer cards. If
it read how you said it did, than the game would be going downhill FAST.
That is what we call a broken card.
I think we all need to stop and think when it comes to japanese card
translating. If a card sounds too brocken and has no drawbacks, then it was
probabally translated wrong. Think about it. Do you honestly think Media
Factory/Wizards Of The Coast would make such broken cards? If they did,
people would grow tired of the game due to everyone using that card, and
they would lose money. This reminds me of the Koga's Pidgeotto ordeal. That
was basically the same thing.
Hey! Here's an idea!! It can be summed up into one word: PATIENCE. Wait
until the card comes out in english. Then, there won't be any more pointless
translation arguments, will there?
SATOSHI: Well, I gotta run. my stock boy is supposed to be re-stocking the
Pokemon TCG cards, but instead, he is riding his bicycle around outside with
unopened booster packs stuck in the spokes. I'll see you all later!!
This is Satoshi, signing off.
