Okay, everybody take a look at Dragonblood's article. This is what not to do.
There are a lot of flaws in this article. Now, as I point out his mistakes in
detail, try to learn not to do this as you read along. It will save you a load
of potenial embarressment.
I'm going to go right from top to bottom with this article. Aside from the
fact that he's using the point system, which is crime in itself, there is the
additional problem of his own judgement. Many moves? Why is that there? Just
because Fossil Zapdos has only one move, doesn't mean that move can't be
better than either of the two attacks of Base Zapdos (which it is). And yeah,
Base set Zapdos can do 100 damage, BUT YOU HAVE TO DISCARD ALL ITS ENERGY. HOW
ABOUT TAKING THAT INTO CONSIDERATION?! And how exactly did you get 160 for
Base and 140 for Fossil? It's fossil that can do 160, and base set can only do
100. But you forgot that the odds of Fossil Zapdos doing 160 damage are
extremely low. And are you forgeting the fact that Thunder has the 50% chance
of taking out Zapdos and therefore isn't worth the 4 energy you put on him?
Yet Dragonblood apparently doesn't know what odds are. Oh, and by the way,
since Fossil Zapdos can do 160 damage, I'd say that his ONE ATTACK is better
that both of Base set Zapdos'! True he has the four energy requirement, which
is of course the end of the world, but I think it's as a restiction because
his attack is actually good and he can do some lethal damage given the
opportunaty to, UNLIKE BASIC ZAPDOS WHO SPENDS MOST OF HIS TIME RECOVERING
FROM THUNDERBOLT AND GETTING THE STUFFING BEATEN OUT OF HIM!
Dragonblood,
you've got to be new to the Pojo, because I believe we've already had the Base
Set Zapdos is good/bad argument many times over and he lost royally! As I said
before, learn from these mistakes and stop wasting your time typing this
trash. And now the traphic report...

PS: This is an example of why the
point system is terrible. If you still think the point system is good, e-mail
me telling me why. Stand up for your beliefs.
