Ryanace:Hello, pokemaniacs! It is I, Ryanace (a.k.a
the true leader of team Rocket) here with yet another single card update.
Giovanni:Our next card is another American Team
Rocket card, along with its basic counterpart.
Ryanace:Our first card is the Team Rocket PSYDUCK!
Psyduck 50hp Weakness-Electric
Retreat-1
P-Dizziness
Draw a card.
WC-Water Gun-20+
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each water energy attached to
Psyduck but not used to pay for
this attack.
Ryanace:I really like this card. If you run out
of Bills or other card-drwing abilities, Dizziness will get you a free card.
Water Gun is not that bad either. 50 hp is solid for a basic, and this is one
of those few guys that actually got the same hp as his (in this case) fossil
counterpart.
Giovanni:Ryan's right. Team Rocket Psyduck will
probably be in some Psychic Stall decks, as few use Bills and end up not
having card advantage. Now if you thought this guy was good, wait till
you see his evolution. Bring in the DARK GOLDUCK!
Dark Golduck 60hp
Weakness-Electric Retreat-2
P-Third Eye
Discard 1 energy card attached to Dark Golduck in oreder to draw
up to 3 cards.
PPC-Super Psy-50
Giovanni:I'm really glad I get to do the review on
this guy. He's AWESOME!!
I think this guy will be extremely abused, possibly more than any other card
in this whole set. 60hp is not bad for a stage one. Guys like
Ivysaur, Seadra, and even Kabutops had 60hp, and they were all stage 1's!
Third Eye will really get you moving with your card advantage, than Super Psy
utterly destroys an opponent. This guy does 20 damage to a guy who's
resistance is Psychic, while the MP Mewtwo only does 10. I really think this
guy will enter a lot of tournament play.
Ryanace:Well, that was fun.
Looks like these are some pretty good cards.
Giovanni:Of course. Well until
next, Ryanace and Giovanni, signing out.
