Hi!  This is Rachael with my opinion on another Gym family.  This time, I'm
looking at Sabrina's Abra and family (one of my favorite sets).

Sabrina's Abra
LV.12   40 HP
C: 10 damage
PC: 40 damage.   Both Active Pokemon must have the same number of Energy
cards attached in order to use this attack.
Retreat Cost: none
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Rarity: unknown (Sabrina's deck only)

This is a pretty decent starting Pokemon.  The first attack allows this Abra
to be played anytime, and if both active Pokemon have only 2 energy attached
to them, the second attack is pretty good.  The HP is about average for a
basic Pokemon.

Sabrina's Abra
LV.18   50 HP
P: Look at your opponent's hand.
P: 10+ damage.  Flip a coin.  If heads, this attack does 20 more damage.
Retreat Cost: -C
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Rarity: unknown (Sabrina's deck only)

The second attack looks identical to Jungle Eevee's Quick Attack, except it
only costs one energy instead of two.  The first attack reminds me of
Omanyte's Power (and probably is called Clarvoiance!), and would be better
if it was a power.  50 HP is high for an Abra.

Sabrina's Abra
LV.11   40 HP
P: 20 damage.  Return one energy card attached to Sabrina's Abra to your
hand.
Retreat Cost: none
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Rarity: common (booster packs only)

Like I said earlier, 40 HP is a decent amount of HP for a basic Pokemon.
One psy energy for 20 damage is good, and returning the energy card keeps
the energy from being wasted when this Abra is knocked out.  Also, this Abra
is the easiest one to find.

Sabrina's Kadabra
LV.41   70 HP
P: Flip a coin.  If heads, put damage counters on the Defending Pokemon
until it only has 10 HP remaining.
PCC: 30 damage
Retreat Cost: -C
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Rarity: uncommon (found in booster packs and Sabrina's deck)

70 HP for a Kadabra???!!!! That is the highest HP I have ever seen on a
Kadabra, and this one has attacks to match!  That first attack can bring the
Defending Pokemon from full power to almost knocked out, and the second
attack can finish the job.  One energy retreat cost is also very good for a
Kadabra.

Sabrina's Alakazam
LV.44   80 HP
Pokemon Power: Sabrina's Alakazam can use the attack's of any of your other
Psychic Pokemon in play.  If Sabrina's Alakazam is Asleep, Confused, or
Paralyzed, this power cannot be used.
PCCC: 60 damage.  This attack cannot be used next turn.
Retreat Cost: -CCC
Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Rarity: holofoil (found in booster packs and Sabrina's deck)

80 HP okay for an Alakazam, but due to the Kadabra's 70 this Alakazam would
look better with 90 or 100 (but 80 is a BIG improvement over Dark Alakazam's
60!)  Four energy for 60 damage is pretty good, except you can only use it
every other turn.  However, this card has one of the best powers I have ever
seen, because it allows you to use one of your benched Pokemon's attacks.
Like Dark Alakazam, it was not meant to be used as a stall card.

This set is probably my favorite set in the entire Gym series.  All three
Abras make pretty good starting Pokemon, Kadabra can almost knock any
Pokemon out with one hit, and Alakazam can choose between using its own
attack or borrowing one from one of its Psychic friends.

Bye!
Rachael
