INVINCIBLE GOLEM (well almost) WHEN DOING 100 DAMAGE

All you need for this awesome trick is a Golem in play, 4 Fighting Energy on
it, and 2 Defenders in your hand. Attach the Defenders to the Golem, then use
Selfdestruct. If Golem had no damage done to it, it should still have 20 HP
left.


AN AWESOME GENGAR

If Dark Mind will do more than enough damage to Knock Out your opponent's
Defending Pokemon, use Curse to move a Damage Counter from that Pokemon to
one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. Then add another 10 damage to that
Pokemon when you use Dark Mind. With this trick, Gengar will be Knocking Out
Pokemon left and right.

SPECIAL POWER TWICE

If Ditto is copying a Pokemon with a Special Power, here's how you can use
that power twice in one turn.  After using the Special Power once, return
Ditto to your hand with a Trainer Card like Scoop Up. For your Active
Pokemon, choose the one with the smallest Retreat Cost. Then, replay Ditto on
your Bench. Retreat your Active Pokemon, promote Ditto, then copy your
Defending Pokemon again. Now you can use the Special Power twice!

A TRICK WITH GAMBLER

If Gambler is the last card in your hand, you will have nothing to shuffle
into your deck. So, at the worst, you get to replace Gambler with another
card. If all you have in your hand are Energy cards, using Gambler is like
using the Base Set Trainer card Maintenance.
