Yes, the old underrated card. Base electrode. With a good 80 HP, it stands
tall. It has an attack, 3 lightning energy to do 50, with a chance of doing
10 to itself. It's real strength lies in Buzzap
PKMN Power-Buzzap
Once during your turn, you may KO electrode. If you do, attach it to a
pokemon. You can use it as a double anything energy.
First impressions think that this card isn't that good, considering an ER
just gives the opponent a free prize. But wait, there is a workaround! Sure,
Lass can help, but only for a few turns. The answer lies in a common allergy!
Dark Vileplume
PKMN Power-hay fever
No more trainers can be played.
Sure, Buzzap gives the opponent a free prize, but is good when powering up
some fatties. Also, it counts as a double anything! Here's a deck that
utilizes this combo.
Petal strike
Pokemon (24)
4 TR voltorb
3 base electrode
4 TR oddish
2 TR gloom
3 TR vileplume
4 Base Zapdos
2 scyther
2 pinsir
Energy (26)
12 lightning
10 grass
4 DCE
Trainers (10) (low, 'cause of Vile)
3 breeder
2 oak
3 NGR
2 comp. search
This fits the theme nicely. Buzzap onto Zap, while the trainer lock is set
up. Scy and Pinsir are for openers (I love pinsir! Better than Scy!) Do that,
and you'll almost certainly win
