Why
must we always pick on shapeless wads of pink stuff? You people out there may
think that you're special, having a form, but I think Ditto has the potential
to be just as good as anyone of you. Remember, Kirby's a pink blob that
changes form. So all you guys that don't like shapeshifters, HAH!
Enough of that. Why does everyone insult Ditto? Contrary to what you all say,
Ditto is actually a very good card. Let's get to understanding him.
Ditto
is unreliable, I'll give you that much. But used wisely, he can be very
powerful. Ditto's pokemon power allows his energy to count as any energy type.
That's very good. Why? Because, using DCE, he can out speed your pokemon. This
is very helpful, especially in the early game. The 50 HP is a hinderance, but
considering the fact that he can transform, you can gust out a pokemon with
high HP out and transform, it's not so bad. Plus, there are Scoop Ups and
Super Potions.
Popular Reasons Why Ditto is Bad
"All you need to do is 50 damage and
retreat or use Gust of Wind."
About the 50 HP/gust thing. That won't work. Why? Think guys. Would an
intelligent person not think of that fact and plan a strategy to prevent that
before putting Ditto in their deck? One word: Lockdown. SER alone prevents
retreat, prevents potentially dangerous attacks. Plus, there aways are Super
Potions and Scoop Ups. And if you're thinking of retreat, I'm supposing that
you have pokemon that have 50- HP? So, what keeps those pokemon from being
knocked out ahead of time?
"If you face a deck with sucky cards,
Ditto becomes those sucky cards."
Solution: USE POKEMON OTHER THAN DITTO, GENIUSES!!! All you need is a few
BBP's/strong evolutions and that deck's down. Please, GOOD reasons.
"Muk destroys Ditto."
Psychic
pokemon + Gust of Wind= KO'ed Muk.
"Goop Gas Attack destroys Ditto."
Yeah,
but for one turn. All you need to do is retreat/scoop up Ditto.
"Ditto VS. Ditto."
You're
opponent's playing Ditto also. There's nothing adverse happening to either
Ditto. What's so bad?
"Dark Gloom/TR Drowzee..."
If
you know your opponent's using a deck that revolves around status effects,
then don't play Ditto. Is that so hard?
I
hope I have convinced you that Ditto isn't so bad. He really is a good card,
and he's a pain to get rid of if you're against him. Whether Man, signing
off.....
