Steve is right about Charizard being a good pokemon. but he is wrong
about some things in his article. first of all VENUSAUR, BLASTOISE, AND
ALAKAZAAM are all better cards than CHarizard. Charizard may bethe best
fighter in his deck, but venusaur, blastoise, and alakazaam all run awesome
decks that are based aroud their powers.
    I believe venusaur is the best card in the game though. hes got 100 hp,
ONLY 2 to retreat, his pokemon power combined with pokecenter and free
retreat pokemon allow u to soak up damage while seriously damging ur
opponent. Venusaurs power ultimately lets u attack with any pokemon in ur
playing area using the same energy because his power says THAT U CAN MOVE
GRASS ENERGY TO ANOTHER ONE OF UR POKEMON, meaning it doesnt have to be
grass. Then u can trans the energy to a pokemon with no damage, use pokemon
center and fully heal all of ur pokemon, then start the beating again.
    I use venusaur in almost all of my grass decks and most of them hardly
ever lose.
